Nice job ... seems us mobile guys are really taking over with having all the good tool.... I have not done mechanic work in a couple of years just Mobil programming.... Lots of money invested but at the end of the week very much worth it...

You will find as you get deeper and deeper into this rabit hole after you already have lots of hardware you will find yourself spending alot of money on speciality software that's custom written for task that are outside of normal service procedures that really come I'm handy ( when your the only tech In Your area thats able to accomplish whatever job comes his way) and believe me words get around fast.. I provide serviced in New Jersey Area as well as Central Florida because I live in both states. Once your setup completely it turns out to be the best decision made in life as it affords you the freedom to have your own schedule and make great money all year round... Goodluck
Its like anything though. For sure takes time. You have to manage your study time too. Making sure not to side track too much. I am no master using lock picks for example. What I need to be doing is studying that harder and harder. Class skill to have. Save getting lock codes from expensive sites too.
I wonder how to know everything the im608 pro can do. I know there’s Autel coverage site but is that it?
GREAT video mate. Just wondered. If marrying thought the Autel system. By on the bench do you mean taking the Cas out prior to getting isn from donor or just after pulling donor isn? Also do you know if this affects the key at all? As in once ECU renew is done the CAS & new donor DME marry & the key will still work ok?

thank you for the precious information. i have e39 m47d20 and lost the keys.. changed ecu, ews box and key. it starts fine, ews box clicks but it wont run because theres apparently isn? or some kind of code on the vp44 injection pump.. been researching how to change that but its way more complicated because the old ecu is missing. is there any way i could perhaps read the vp44 with obd?

Is it possible to do that with a AUTEL IM508 and XP400 PRO? Can't decide between VVDI2 + Prog and the AUTEL. For the first job I have a FEM module to replace on a F20 (customer bought a used one)

I’ve replaced the DME for my BMW and coded to my car by MK908 but the only problem now is the cruise control dosent work as the DME removed from car without CC. Anyway to activate the CC as i coded all the modules but still same?

Awesome Video. We're based in Australia and trying to fit used DME to Mini 2010. We have Autel Maxi Sys Elite. From what I can see there is no other way for us to get the new pin from the used DME into the original CAS without VVDI2 is that correct? Does ISTA have that function? Have never used ISTA but need to find a solution to marry our used DME to the vehicle. Genuine ECU $4,000 Australian dollars out of Germany, 2-3 months wait :(

Found the software, but apparently its useless with out the special VVdi2 OBD2 connector.

Hi I have a 2007 BMW X5
The customer has a breathalyzer installed.
He called to have a locksmith to make a key. The guy came and made a key. And the vehicle never started. He assumed obviously this was due to the customer not being there to blow in the breathalyzer.
Customer then finds old keys.
Now both keys work turn on the dash and lock and unlock but won’t start the car.
The issue is the DME is no longer synchronized I think. The specific code autel im508/608 is giving me is that the DME is unresponsive.
I have no idea what kind of software the previous locksmith used.
I tried many times to resynchronize the DME using the Autel but it just instantly says operation success as it always does. It doesn’t seem autel really does much with a Dme sync.
Can you give me any pointers? I’d really like to get this going for him.
Everything seems fine it can’t be much more than just the Dme not being synced. I noticed you said in the video can sync the Dme no problem. Yes it has that option. Doesn’t do anything though.

nice now when they take it for a smog test it won't pass since you never wrote the vin of the car to the used ecu
