Marvelous
Thank you!

Awesome! 😍
Can i add korean soy bean paste or can you recommend the one you are using..
Also, description list 2 Tbsp dark soy sauce but I didn't see you add.
Is it optional?
👍🏻🙏
I missed Taiwan🤤🤤
We also :(
@@themeatmensg Taiwan is part of PRC China
ohhh~~ mine is using the same ingredients but instead of using the spice bag, i used the 5 spice powder and boil everything together with the beef shank cubes for an hour then simmer for another 2 hours.. XD
Works too :)
How many tsp for 5 spices powder?
@@sutienwati3625 i forgot.. i think 3 tsp.. i did it once because i was cooking dinner for myself..
Have traditional Taiwanese beef shank soup at local restaurant. Get addicted to the soup. Want to make it from scratch. Find this exciting, easy-to-follow recipe. Thanks 🙏
We love hearing how you found our recipe! What other food addictions are you on?
@@themeatmensg It was recommended by UA-cam. Your video was recommended and I took a chance and watched. My only assumption: I enjoy making foreign cuisine from scratch in my basic America kitchen 😂 I often look up new foreign recipes.
My interests in new recipes are mostly from the following countries: India (trying to be more plant based); Vietnam; Korea; and lastly, Taiwan.
Taiwanese cuisine is a new venture for me, and it’s refreshing and exciting. I am a huge fan of southeast Asian cuisine, because it’s like eating a fresh, fragrant garden with healthy, fatty, non-fried meat.
I am of the opinion that Asian cuisine from many Asian countries reigns supreme over all. It’s generally healthier and the portions are smaller, something a health conscious American like me can appreciate.
Favorite food of all time: ramen 🍜
How much water do we use?
Look delicious, how much water do I need for this broth, thank you for sharing.
About 500-750ml water? Depending on how big your pot is :)
@@themeatmensg Thank you for reply,
I been followed you for many years, I used your recipes converted to vegan, please continue make some vegan/vegetarian 😁
This is damn bomb!!! I tried it!
Is salt and chillie needed
I used white wine vinegar and realized I had mirin in my cabinet. It probably is better with rice wine, lol. I’ll try that next time.
Hi, other than beef shank what part can I used as it is quite difficult to get beef shank in KL?
Maybe an oxtail or chuck roast :)
Brisket meat
❤❤❤
Thanks for the recipe, is it okay if we do not use a spice bag? Thank you
The spice bag is just to make it easier to separate the spices. You can use a tea ball or nothing at all.
@@recoil53 Thank you so much for the information 🙏
Yep!
You can also use five spices powder and strain the soup after it's done.
it's easy to make
Super!
What brand of soy bean paste to use ?
Looks like Tobanjian.
I noticed there's a change in the font, the one you're currently using seems kiddish
Hey there! As The Meatmen is a team of young members, we're trying to revamp our content to what represents us better. But thank you for the feedback :)
where is the salt?
Scared too salty
I'll have to try apples, I've been using an orange peel.
Works too!
Its like beef pho...
You'll be surprised how similar food from all over the world are similar to one another!
No sauer cabbage = not taiwanese beef noodles
Oh im not asian nor have i had any food from any restaurants in Carlisle pa cause me not my kids are mail thieves liars or child abuser or drunk driving thieves neither
Who does this? It's too much work. It's a fantasy, once a pond a time meal.
Good to learn something new :)
Stick with ur steak and chips then lol
Maybe try hotdogs u simpleton
