#5 - what was the phantom menace. Another meaning was that the phantom menace was the orchistrated conflict between two factions in the galaxy - the republic and the separatists. This was not a real conflict but a phantom , created by Palpatine to convince everyone that there is a menace in the Galaxy that requires a war and that eventually requires the end of a free democracy in favour of an autocratic state with him as the ruler in order to deal with this.
I remember seeing puppet Yoda in the theatrical release, but as a Star Wars movie trivia competitor, I’ve watched them all more times than I could count, so I’ve also seen the CGI version. I honestly enjoy them both for different reasons, maybe nostalgia yet CGI looks smoother? Either way, I love them both and I always will! “Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future.” - Yoda
The guy who voiced the Gungan boss also played Vultan, the leader of the hawkmen in Flash Gordon who lived in a flying city that was the inspiration for Cloud City from ESB. ,...and Exar Kunn had a double bladed lightsabre in the comics before TPM came out.
Hmm, If only Kitster knew what Aniakin would turn into, they should make a mini comic book series of young Aniakin and Kitster (Flashback style) just being friends, playing and supporting eachother, hanging out when they can, then basically have Qui Gon and Obi Wan show up with Padme, then show Kitster watching the Pod Race and celebrating with Aniakin, Qui Gon, Obi Wan and Padme, then have them leave Tatooine after Qui Gon fights Darth Maul, then fast forward to Attack of the Clones and show how much Aniakin has progressed in his training with Obi Wan and how him and Padme are in a romantic relationship, then fast forward to Revenge of the Sith where him and Obi Wan fought Count Dooko then skip to the Mace Windu vs Palpatine fight where Aniakin betrays the Jedi and then Order 66 happens and Aniakin fights Obi Wan and Aniakin's transformation as Darth Vader, then at the end Kitster finds out..
I think I counted the use of the word "iconic" seven times. Slightly less than WatchMojo (especially given a 27-minute runtime), but about five too many.
TPM didn't introduce Coruscant. I think it was the Heir To The Empire Trilogy and the first X-Wing game came out in 92-93. Lucas basically loved the concept and took it from the EU like he did with a lot characters from the 90s Star Wars media

I don't know if this was intentional, but "nass" means "wet" in German. A fitting name for the leader of an aquatic species. 🙂
yea but then u gotta think ab the fact that they chose a german translation rather than using latin
😏

Interesting list!
For #26, you can see him briefly in the background in the Phantom Menace.
Perhaps the Phantom Menace is more clever than most people give credit for.
