These are great! Definitely going to add this to my Christmas list for my daughters. Glitter is the herpes of crafting - once you get it, you can’t get rid of it 😆 But a tip for easy glitter clean-up is Swifter cloths, even the ones from the Dollar Tree! They work wonderfully for any “powdered” product. You can also use a lint roller 😊
Just curious to know how those 2 cups did over the past year or so how did the glue water mixture compared to the contact solution stand after a long time
Lovesss this! I take my glitter and hold it over the hole and tap cup on table and it bounces the glitter inside the cup alot faster than pushing it in. Learned tht after first cup haha. Plz do more videos
Looks very cool, thank you for sharing. Does this take away from the vacuum insulation then? Will condensation get in-between the layers if you have a cold beverage/ice inside?
I want to try to make these but I'm not good with epoxy resin last time I bought it and tried to use it it went cloudy and didn't dry it stayed sticky it was very confused and it was very expensive honestly dread anything with the epoxy resin but I love it so much
Try UV resin! It’s a little more expensive but you don’t have to mix the resin and the hardener which is a much trickier process. You just squeeze little UV resin out and cure it with UV light
I made my first snow globe tumbler last night and am having a problem getting all of the air out. At the end, as I tried to add more water, it just kept coming back out the hole. With putting the hole in the lower section of the bottom, how do you get rid of all the air?
Hey! I made a tumbler like similar to this last night and then it started leaking at the rim where the top goes. Any idea how to fix it with throwing the entire cup away?
not sure why but when i put the tape and epoxy glue on top it still has a little bubble with a leak. i also tried it with no tape and it created a bubble. 😭 not sure what else i can do
I watched a video where she replaced the hole with the circle, taped it down, epoxy the entire bottom, add glitter & mix a bit, epoxy and dry/cure. The cure time should be 5-7 days they say.
How do you avoid the air bubbles? I thought I had filled mine pretty good but after it was done I shook it around to get the glitter to move and turns out there’s a lot of air in it
On your website, you said 2 part glue and 1 part water. I followed that and my glitter is clumped on the top. On this video you said 2 part water and 1 part glue.
I’m so sorry you’re absolutely right! The video is correct, I got it backwards on my site but I’m fixing it right now 🤦♀️ Thank you for letting me know!
I bought a hot Stix, think that's what it's called, for rhinestones. It makes a hole, but be careful not to go down to hard, cause you can put a hole on the inner part. Oh don't touch the tip either, it's hot. Hard lesson for me lol
Thank you for teaching! I’m from Brazil and I don’t find who can teach me here. Thankssss ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been looking for a cute Starbucks cup idea for a project for some friends as a graduation gift and this is it 😍 thank you so much!!
You made that look so simple and explained it all PERFECTLY. Looks fantastic and i CAN'T wait to try. Thank you😊
I'm making matching ones for me and my best friend, I'll definitely be using the contact solution method, I love how the glitter moves!
Gl on it ^^
This video was great and straight to the point. Thank you for sharing ♡
Thanks for sharing both ways of adding to the cups. This entire time I thought it was only the glue and proxy way
I love how they turn out
Oiiie,vc pode explicar a proporção de cola e da água por fvor ?
O seu trabalho é lindo 😍😍😍
I love how your tumblers turned out. I don’t like the huge air bubble in the cup. Thank you for sharing.

Lol that’s one of my favorite craft quotes! 🤣🤣 That is a great tip, thank you for sharing! 😊
Wow. The “herpes” of crafting.
I just made my first Halloween cup, thank you ☺️
Just curious to know how those 2 cups did over the past year or so how did the glue water mixture compared to the contact solution stand after a long time
cool beans. thank you for your service
Exactly what I was looking for....😁💕
Thank uuuu 😘💕

Do you know where I can buy the Starbucks cups in bulks 😊

Ur video has helped me out so much thank u 💓 💗
The glue flows better than with glycerin
Glycerin and water or straight glycerin?
This is so cool !! Thanks!
how much contact solution do you put in the 16oz cup?
Hey just a heads up if you use contact solution it may dry out over time because it does evaporate like water does
That’s sooooo true!!!!! Thank you for posting this!!!
Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Amei seu trabalho
Can you do the same with an insertable tumbler instead of drilling holes?
Thank you so much this was really helpful!!!
Omg! V. Glycerin is a headache, glue mind blown 🤯
What else could be used to seal the hole?
Do you recommend using dye to color the glue? Or would that cause a smell or cause any issues?
Okay im gonna try it with the contact solution 🙂
Ok I get it now. I was confused about the drill part
Would you say on average you punch 1inch of glitter for every cup type/size? or does that change with glitter type and cup size?
Thank you very much, looking for this, 🥰
Me puedes decir cual es la solución de contacto me gustaría hacer uno pero q tenga esa consistencia
Love this!
are you able to use brite tone to close the hole?
What is that kinds of cup called?
Done glitter mix with fine glitter seem to get chunky clumps ?

Does it evaporate...I made 2 snowglobe ones but used glycerine n water n in 2 days it evaporated..
Love it 😍😍😍💜💜
What would be the measurements for the grande cup ? With the glue and water method? :)
4 oz water 2 oz glue I think. 2:1 ratio of water and glue
@@w9renee Can it be any water , as some is prone to create mold .
I have a question how do I clean out some of the plastic that went in the tumbler?
Hey! I made a tumbler like similar to this last night and then it started leaking at the rim where the top goes. Any idea how to fix it with throwing the entire cup away?
It’s done stupid sorry lol
Does the glue harden over time?
How much liquid solution do you add?
Por favor que es solución de contacto?
how much glitter u add with contact solutions
Are there any other recommendations you guys have for the liquid inside?
For the Venti cup how much glitter did you buy for it? How much of it did you use?
I’m jus learning to do these but have seen some cups mold inside. How do I prevent that
I think as long as you seal the hole at the bottom this wouldn’t be an issue- mine haven’t had any mold and it’s been over a year since I made them.
@@MarchingNorth thank u….I have watched few videos n I seen using regular water and glycerin causes mold…jus never heard of it
If you use distilled water I heard that helps with that
What is used to seal it at the end so it doesn’t leak
Can I use Any double wall tumbler or does it only work on Starbucks ones
I think it’ll work on any similar tumbler.
@@MarchingNorth thank you for letting me know
How do I make it we’re my glitter doesn’t clump and float to the top?
Try using uv resin to sell it. It's instant.
How does the epoxy hold up when washing?
It’s held up really well and we wash it frequently 😊
I used this same contact solution for my snow globe tumbler and I have alot of bubbles/foam that doesn't want to go away. What can I do?
Por favor que es solución de contacto?
is there something else i can use to seal the hole??
Will a Dremel work good also?
I think so! 😊
does it matter on the volt size
not sure why but when i put the tape and epoxy glue on top it still has a little bubble with a leak. i also tried it with no tape and it created a bubble. 😭 not sure what else i can do
I’ve had that happen before and I added some more epoxy to patch the hole- sorry you’re having trouble!
I use a glue stick in the bottom. I kind of just screw it in alittle bit. Then epoxy. These cups are beautiful
Glue stick is a brilliant idea! ♥️ thank u!
I’ve seen people use the rubber cabinet stoppers.
I watched a video where she replaced the hole with the circle, taped it down, epoxy the entire bottom, add glitter & mix a bit, epoxy and dry/cure. The cure time should be 5-7 days they say.
Boile water let it cool add few drups glysterin and it wil be better
How do you get the glitter to mix well I still have some that is stuck to the rim of the cup
Water
Where y’all buy the cup other then starbursts?
They have them at Michael’s or Amazon!
What type of epoxy do you use?
Gorilla Glue brand
Hola when I can fine the stickers?
My cup had them already-
Where I can buy the cups?
Are the clear cups Starbucks brand?
Just the ones with the Starbucks logo are- the clear ones are generic.
How do you avoid the air bubbles? I thought I had filled mine pretty good but after it was done I shook it around to get the glitter to move and turns out there’s a lot of air in it

Hello, what are the amounts of glue and water ? Like 2 cups water and 1 cup glue ? Sorry I’m a little slow.
What is the liquido?
Resistió y agua mixta
@@mirellypena1723 resistió? What is?
For the larger cup she used glue and water mixed together. For the smaller one she used contact solution.
Will uv resin work??
I’m not sure 🤔 😅
yes it does work
Yes that's what I use I love it
@@dazzledbydiamond4700 nice tysm
For the contact solution one….dose it have to be that brand or can it be okay to use any brand
I think any brand should work.
Why can’t you use just plain water?
U need more then that
Where are the cups from ?? Starbucks it self ?
Yea I went to my local Starbucks- they have them on Amazon too but they were more expensive 😊
Have you found any issues over time with either method?
What kind of glue did you use?
Elmer's Clear school glue
How do you make sure the plastic doesn’t crack? I tried it with two different cups and they both cracked.
Try drilling with a smaller drill bit then go larger to avoid cracking
I bought a hot Stix, think that's what it's called, for rhinestones. It makes a hole, but be careful not to go down to hard, cause you can put a hole on the inner part. Oh don't touch the tip either, it's hot. Hard lesson for me lol
Put a piece of tape where you are going to drill this should keep it from cracking. Put the tape on the area then drill thru the tape and plastic
Ft Rheem
... i got impatient. I have some bubbles haha . But for a first cup I'm not mad.
Where can i get epoxy?
I got it on Amazon- there’s a link in the video description 😊
is there any way to take the original interior wrap paper off from the cup? I have one that already has a design in there
I’m not sure- the ones I used were clear, sorry I can’t be of more help!
the top or bottom might screw off if not then no it doesn't not come out!
