I was doing Muay Thai since back in the 90's In NYC, there back tehn the amatuer Muay Thai fights they would only score on boxing. Cause the judges really did not understand Muay Thai. So I had alot of fights where I was kicking really hard and alot. No points for that my friend. Then I would do knees no scores for that. So you are correct in the western mind punches are more important.
Honestly, probably not.. another thing that sadly affects decisions on occasion here in Thailand is the gambling aspect. Especially in smaller stadiums but from what I hear happens in the bigger ones as well. It’s all about the money 💰 lol

At this level they’re in Chiang Mai, then if I happened to work my way up possibly Bangkok or elsewhere. Should be fighting in 2 weeks!
