I second “It ain’t over till it’s over”. Lenny Kravitz is not only an amazing musician but his band his incredibly talented and professional. He holds the bar high and it shows in his songs.

It's probably my absolute fave from him......I was fortunate enough to meet Lenny on the streets of Philly back in the late 80's!! Besides being dressed to kill, he stopped to talk to me. and he is the nicest guy! We talked about numerous things, like my old boyfriend, favorite song, and he asked me to sing and dance for him.....I froze on the dancing.....because you know, he's Lenny Kravitz!! I really think I missed a huge opportunity that day.....Anyway as he left, he told me to just "Let Love Rule"!!

The song that kickstarted his career is called Let Love Rule. It is great, I highly recommend it. Also, It Ain’t Over till it’s Over, which is later in his career.
Lenny is fantastic. Saw him in 1992 when he opened for The Cult at Desert Sky Pavilion in Phoenix. Great double bill.
I saw him in spring 1990 or 1991 when he opened for Tom Petty, and the Heartbreakers. He was pretty much just know as Mr. Lisa Bonet at the time, but I had seen his video for Let Love Rule, and couldn't wait.

I don't think so. He wrote Little Girl's Eyes for Zoe, which makes me cry every time. Also, Flowers for Zoe. The latter is on the Mama Said album, the former is on the 5 album along with I Belong to You.

Lenny Kravitz was high school times for me, going back and forth on the bus every day, radio blasting "Again" or "American Woman". Back then I saw him as a possible new Hendrix with his appearance, but he seemed to have a cluster of hits and vanished. He was married to Lisa Bonet (Cosby Show, A Different World) who is so beautiful, and they had daughter Zoe Kravitz. Divorced in '93, but what a couple.
