Very sweet of you, thanks so much!
Austin I love it when you do short films at the beginning of your videos, they make my day!😂It was a great way to end a birthday I have a Nick Cage Christmas ornament that I hang at the very top of my tree. ❤
Dylan Gelula was a standout for me during this, I loved her in Shithouse and I love her here
It has probably the funniest moment of the year for me. Didn't expect it and laughed pretty hard for a good 10 min
I really enjoyed it! The ending in particular was very poignant imo. When I saw that Ari Aster produced it at the end I nodded and said that makes total sense. One of the best Cage performances in a while.
Cage was awesome in Renfield. I really enjoyed the film. Wish we got more of him in the movie, but it was good for what it was.
Great review man. I'm excited to check this out
Hope you enjoy it!
Lol that intro 😆
Great review bro. I am exicted for this one
The Cage Inception. 😁
This was one of my favorite cage performances the movie had me but I just wanted more tbh .
Just saw it and yeah. Great setup and funny dialogue. One of Nicolas Cage best movies but ending was on a sour note. This is a bit like eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind or adaptation.
The Holdovers?
The holdovers is my second favorite movie of the year, that movie shocked me for how fantastic it was.
It's my second favorite of the year. Just incredible.
@@Cinemahguy what is your first favorite?
"Pig" was by far my favorite Nicolas Cage movie. I'll go see this movie. I'm not expecting much but we shall see...
Saw it last night, it was an exceptional movie, well worth the time and money.
Nicolas Cage really has some good movies lately
I haven’t seen many he hasn’t been good in. “The Wicker Man” is one of my favorites by him.
I liked Cage’s performance in this better than I liked the film overall. Best Cage performance/film of all time for me is Mandy
Dream a little dream of me...
im afraid now i’m going to dream with Paul 😮
Pig is so good. Top tier Nic Cage’
Good choice
This has been my favorite film this year. I think when you turn 40 you’ll see the film as a meditation on trying to be relevant while the youth turns on you. Like I do 😂
If you’re into that kind of thing, see Synecdoche New York if you haven’t already
@@rutherfrogp.wilmington4907 one of my faves! Such an existential experience
A masterpiece!
That mask though!!?! 💀
Lol
I wanted to like this movie. The premise is interesting and cage was terrific but I just despised the way his character was treated. Loved how the movie showed how illogical cancel culture is.
I didn't understand most of the jokes even the "funny because it's awkward" ones. I just felt bad for the dude the whole movie. To Aly I didn't understand why paul was upright at the diner. Maybe it's my adhd/ASD but this movie just felt wtf and boring. Other than the corporate office being cringe that was funny. Not for me it's too artsy
A24 is always a pass for me. however i just watched. interesting but not my cup of tea.
btw. his brother was in the film. the guy that somebody mentioned that looks like Paul.
Pig is caged best work of the 2020s
❤️
Acting 7/10 😢 liiiies
This is kind of based on a true story.
HOW?
Check out ANIMAL released today
It's the best R rated movie this year
Please be better than Beau is afraid lol.
Really? Is he playing a normal strange character?
Im glad u agree with me on the movie going in too many directions in the third act. Sometimes idk if im just having a hard time following a movie or if its the movie itself 😅. When they start going into the dream house it veered too much for me. It was like a whole different concept/message that muddled the overall movie message. I think im too used to normal movies….i just watched poor things and the lobster, now this. Its all too much for me lol.
My fave nicholas cage movie is the unbearable weight of massive talent. But take that with a grain of salt bc its the only other nicholas cage movie ive seen and i love pedro pascal.
