Yes, this game is pretty hard, but to me one of the best games ever, it has something magical, the music, the graphics, by the way it was made by Mark Cerny in 1984, this man also helped to create Crash bandicoot, the first Uncharted and some others. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Cerny Thank you so much for the video is impressive.
It does a really good job with its lighting and little animations, it makes it feel like a little play set and breathes so much life into what could of been just another arcade game.
WoW! That's all I can say. I never seen that game played so fast and persistently like that. I worry more about the time runnin out and fallin off the side. I played it a lot as a kid in the 90's and rarely got passed the 3rd or 4th level
My record is 141.720. With luck and after playing many, many games. I remeber how long it took to even master the final level. This video is incredible.
Your final score is determined by completing the Ultimate Race with more seconds remaining up to 99 seconds for 99000 points, but if you die, thousand points will be deducted from your final score! To keep your high score high, don't die. Current Score + (Time * 1000) + 20000 - (Deaths * 1000) = Final Score
I know the DOS version of Marble Madness counts down the time even past 99 seconds. If you finish with like 130 seconds left, it starts counting the thousands and the 99 will still appear until there is less than 99 seconds left.
Even though the arcade score is higher than this one, I think this may be the better played game. The arcade score suffered because he fell off on one screen but he took a major shortcut on the last board. If the MAME player takes the same shortcut at the end I think his score is higher.
Actually, if you look at the high score board at the start and end of that video, there is a 215,000+ score in the #1 spot (the game in the video itself went in the #2 spot). I seriously doubt this one could've matched that score even with the shortcut, because the end bonus maxes at 2,000 more than the one here (99,000 for a maxed out timer + 20,000 for finishing). That wouldn't be enough to make up the difference between the two scores.
No way the guy played with a track ball. The speed and sensitivity settings seem to be cranked and he’s playing with a mouse or some sort of arcade joystick. I played this game for years and you don’t have that much control.

Seriously, is this for real? I think my high score was about 140,000 and I was elated with that. Just amazing!

That's insane! No words 😳
I don't know how to feel about a Game that, if you're good at it, will only last about 2 minutes, but longer if you suck at it
My number one favorite arcade game I remember each level and audio of the game especially level 5 silly level

I do have a question--What MAME analog sensitivity settings are being used in the run? I wanna try to emulate the skill shown in the video.
Everything you know is wrong.....
See? If you complete each level quicker by hitting the correct tricks to earn more points without dying, you will get a higher score!
I think you're right. And if you don't keep losing lives you don't have to go back the beginning again.
Thats!.... Thats!.... I mean! thats! ... I'm out of words!
Wow... Nice moves at 0:38 and 1:51
Good one, but you could actually end the game faster by not killing the time bonus enemies, this is a score world record then.
TY for showing me how the last level is NOT impossible!!
Well played this game is hard😭
Easily the best footage of this game ever. Amazing, thanks!
Hit small enemies to earn more points and time!
And don't forget to attack the giant enemy crab's weak point for massive damage!
Go faster to the Goal without dying!
Just curious... Did you use a trackball or keyboard?
Controller for sure
Mad Mad Skills!
速いーーーっ!

It's too bad that; this 'UA-cam' 💔 ♥ ❤ 💓 😔 💗 💔 video, doesn't show a 2 player version. There's also some audio problems with this video 📹 😳 😐 😕.
WTF
Wo!!!!
Awesome game but not enough levels
Holy fuck that was quick. If you fart, you'll miss it.
You're crazy!!! Incredible!!!!!
I've never been able to beat this damn game but i love it
Is this a WORLD RECORD?
Eh, for MAME.....now let's see him do it on a cabinet.
This game is fucking impossible, even on a controller. And to think that this machine had a TRACKBALL on it...
AMAZING! :D
YOU CAN'T STOP SHORT THAT FAST AFTER THE SLIDE ON LEVEL 4..AT LEAST NOT ON THE NES.
Read the title...

終わるの早っ、見たことあるけど改めてカービィのピンボールみたいだと思った
I can play that well on the NES...
