It’s not the hammerspring making that ping. It’s air resonance in the air tank. You can install a baffle in the tank breaks up the wave of air to eliminate that noise
Do You have any luck with your carnivore. I have the 9 mm and it's probably the worst gun I have. I cannot get it to group at all. Not even at 25 yd and I've try 5 or 6 different pellets.
I just purchased the Donnie FL Ronan for my bulldog. And it barely makes a difference. It did change the sound but not enough to where it was worth the money that I paid for it.
nice videos ,did you do the depinger kit i mention it in your other video ,i have done the barrel supports work great ,will do the suppressor an depinger get it lower then the 90 desibles ,it still seems pretty loud ,i think someone needs to test the stock bulldog to the suppressed one it does sound like muzzle energy ,again mabey being so close to your home too last video said 90 desibles i got to wonder 93 for stock one i hear plus the meter ,the 30 cal carnavore sounds louder ,but yes there all much quieter then a 22 lr by far,i found to that some videos they sound much louder then others,but going back to the other video ,i could not see is that super or regular ,have you thought about a tune for more power from the bulldog
I have a comparison with the bulldog. One with the suppressor off and one with the suppressor on. But I did not use a decimal meter. If you put on headphones and listen to it you can totally tell the difference. Without headphones are high volume I don't know that you would be able to hear the difference. Entertaining, but not very useful. I would have been very interested to know...specific to the Bulldog...the starting pressure, the weight and ballistic profile of the slugs being shot. I have recently purchased a Bulldog and am looking at options for reduced barrel noise. Perhaps future videos could also include before/after shooting of moderators, chrono results, etc.
I like the looks of the Hatsan rifles, but man,..they are just mostly too loud! Now that Benjamin Bulldog with the moderator is not for me,...sorry, I just can't get to like those squared off looks on a rifle. I guess I'm just a traditionalist.
it grows on you very fast when your putting 5 shots groups tighter then a 308 at 75 yards it has won 3 awards since 2015 too 2 for shooting an 1 for value ,this rifle is capable with some mods of 300 fpe from the stock 190 fpe tactical feel with a houge grip ,hatsan rifles ,well i have the 30 cal break barrel its fun but wicked heavy hard to cock at 50lbs ,an not near as balanced as the bulldog is ,but still fun for the back yard,the bulldog is taking 420 lbs hogzilas 300 pound white tail ,shoots arrows pellets an bullets from 81 grain to 190 grain, the arrows 375 grains from 50 yards 475 fps an 950 fps with 81 grain pellet an 700 fps with 170 grain,an it now cost 2/3rds what it cost 2 years ago ,it is the most afforable bang for your buck rifle on the market for now,got mine from PA $654.00 on sale ,only thing that will beat it soon for value an bang in the 50 cal, the umerex hammer that will shoot jacketed bullets from 180 grain to 550 grain at 700 fpe for $750.00 ,it will shoot sabots from a .357 .45 an 50 cal from 700 fps to 1200 fps ,its on my wish list an will be the most powerful production air rifle in the world ,equal to the power of a muzzle loader an 300 more fpe then a standard 45 cal acp at 400 fpe
Looks like something from Starship Troopers. I don't own one, but for something you can buy and shoot and hunt with (safely and humanely) I think they are a great tool.

Yeas they have a de ping that gets rid of the hammer ping they also tons of mods that also up the power & shot count.

It is a bit goofy looking, but they grow on you after a while. I call it my daisy from the future...
