Tom Bailey and Steve Morris for the win! I have something to say about computer glitches I have had some computers come up with some crazy crap that was never expected. Not with cars, but with all kinds of industrial controls. When I had trouble with a control that did not accept new programming correctly or seemed to be operating with 2 different sets of instructions, I found a go around to get thru until replacement was performed. I would first download and save the current program. I would then delete any program from the computer and any backup, along with temporary files. I would then power the computers down completely, then restart. I would then upload the new programming and verify it. For some reason, once in a while backup files would get mixed up with current programming and do some nutsy stuff. The computer would try to fill in blanks by accessing backup or temp files. Memory corruption due to too many rewrites seemed to confuse them. By using the instructions I outlined above was the only way I could positively confirm current programming until the culprit was fixed. Just my offering from a loyal follower.
Formally Broke neck Stevie Fast Jackson!!! What a man. Always there to help a racer in need. Great work everyone. Hopefully you get everything figured out and you are back racing.

Steve do the tuneup files you create have checksum data so that after creating the “tuneup file” you can compare the tuneup file uploaded to the ECU? If check sum file’s information is not available I would highly recommend that whoever’s engine management system you are using starts making that available. If they won’t/can’t can you view the tune-up file as a text file? If so than a copy of your tune-up after you write it (prior to upload) could be made to the tuneup file you uploaded to the ECU and then downloaded could be made by a little editing (organize it) in a text editor software app and using text to file tool in excel to compare the file data.
