Good job Jake. If you add traction tape no one will slip. Lockport Grip Tape 2-Pack - Heavy Duty Anti Slip Tape with 80 Grit Traction - 4 in x 50 ft of Waterproof, Oil & UV-Resistant, Grip Tape for Stairs, Treads, & Ramps - Non Slip Tape I have dogs with rear end issues too. This tape had done wonders for their ability to come up and down the ramps we have built for them. Love everything you and Lyssa do for your babies.❤
How sweet of you Jake to build Savy a ramp so it’s easier for her to go up! You might want to either cover it with outdoor carpeting or rubber grip skids to help her and yall to walk up easier when it’s wet outside and gets muddy, I had to do that for my handicapped fur baby so she could get a grip on the wet ramp to go up!! Also it wouldn’t be a bad idea to either put a rail or a side board on either side so it’s not so easy to slip off of the side when going up !! I have a Chihuahua that went blind so I lined my ramp with The garden picket fences so that she would know her way down the ramp once she touches grass she's okay but I don't want her falling off my little back deck before she gets to the grass. ❤❤❤
Such a blessing! Stairs aren’t really good for doggos anyway. But this ramp is simply precious-made with love. For those who don’t know (I didn’t until last year) stairs are very hard the backs of dogs, especially small dogs. Regardless, it’s just an outward sign of Jake and Alyssa’s love for their fur babies. Truly a blessing!

A word of advise Jake if that ramp gets wet it gets very slippery so you might want to paint it and add sand to the paint to get your ramp some grip as you or Alyssa or Brinlee don't need to fall on that and get hurt...good job on the build tho...

Amazing job Jake, so glad you solved Savvy's problem. You may want to put down some safety stripes or paint on a grip paint to keep the ramp from becoming slippery, especially with the rain and now winter makings it's ways there. Just an added safety point not just for Savvy but for anyone that will be using the ramp.

Perfect ramp until you bust your butt slipping on it. Put some grip tape or out door carpet on it, or some cross board strips, cut tomatoe stakes work well. My grandparents had to do it for their ramp.

Jake, is it safe to keave all of that string on the hay that the cows eat? Moo was funny as heck when he was trying to block you. I've never seen him do that. He just pushes that fork lift (I'm not sure if that's the right name) like it's nothing. He's a strong cow. You guys are such good pup owners. They're very lucky to have you both.
