EVERYONE LISTEN UP I’ve lost my right AirPods too and bought a replacement off of eBay but make sure it’s real not fake now at first I was mad bc I thought it wasn’t gonna work bc it was flashing red and I hold down the button and everything and it didn’t work but after I let them charge for about 15 to 20 min and hold down the button again and IT WORKED! VERY HAPPY IT WORKED

I was just at Apple store, they told me that a brand new left or right airpod might take 20 or 30 minutes to upgrade its firmware so it has the exact updated firmware as the opposite airpod. It upgrades firmware just but sitting in the opened pod and the pod connected to the phone. They told me after about 30 minutes...then yes try reconnect with the small button and everything should be synced together.

If they’re flashing amber leave them on charge for a bit disconnected and try again it worked for me

* If the status light still flashes amber, connect the case to power, close the lid, and wait 20 minutes. Then open the lid and press and hold the setup button again for a few seconds until the status light flashes white.
This is per the apple website. Worked for me!

Make sure that you’re certain you lost it first!!! I ordered a new one found it and tried to cancel the order and they wouldn’t allow me to cancel or refund the airpod even though the box was completely unopened!

when i put both of them in the case it’s a orange light i’ve reset and charged them what now
update: when there’s a new update on the iphone you have to wait a couple days to connect the airpods bc the settings is updating (so if this is what it’s doing just wait a couple days)

Say that i lost my airpod and i wanted to go about it by ordering a replacement off of somewhere like ebay, and the serial numbers to the case and that airpod don’t match. How would i go about that?

Only thing that work for me on Android. You have to charge both airpods and case to %100 first then to this.

It does not work it still does not play on that AirPod even though on green
