Austin Home Reno - Recycle, Re-use, Refurbish

You can reno and be conscious about where your construction waste goes. Even your site water bottles and coffee cups should go into the recycle bin!
On this East Austin Reno I tried to recycle, re-use and refurbish anything I could. I posted items on Craigslist, brought unsold materials to the Habitat for Humanity's store "Re-Store", got money for the scrap metal we had, and the rest went with great sadness to the dump.
What I didn't film was me chopping up the leftover wood into firewood pieces for my chiminea, and buying replacement pieces for the stove ($135) instead of buying a new stove at $599.
