It's a nice car with less problems all in all. Drive the same car as you since 2011. Important is to make an oil change every year (or if you can afford all 10.000 kilometers at least). This prevents you from trouble with the timing chain. I only had to change the oil pressure switch (8 Euros) over all the years. Got it with 10.000 kilometers and now I'm at 119.000. Think I will have a few years of fun left. 🙂
If you look after your engine, The z14xep. They will last. Mine gets an oil change every 6 months between 5k kilometers. Never have any issues. I service around 100 corsa's a year. they all have some minor issues but nothing big. Change your brake fluid every 2 years or the ABS Pump will go bad.
Just got my first car, its the same a Opel Corsa 1,4 Enjoy from 2008, the engine has run 146000km and i payed 4000 euro for it here in Denmark. I really like the car and everything is good the engine sounds great says my dad.

87hp is 1.2, 1.4 is 100hp, i have this engine in my Corsa, it was a wrong purchase (just car itself was handled badly, not that corsa is bad), looking for another one now.

Ich frag mich bis heute, was sich Opel bei der Übersetzung beim 1.4er gedacht hat... 130 bei 4000 Umdrehungen und 160 bei 5000... Das ist jeweils nur ein tick weniger als bei meinem 1.0er 60ps damals... der war bei 125 bei 4000 und 155 bei 5000. Beim 1.2er haben se es ja auch richtig gemacht, der ist erst bei 140 bei 4000 und 180 bei 5000
Genau das! Der Motor fängt schon an zu schreien ab 85kmh. Habe den 1,4l mit 101PS. Auf der Autobahn tut mir das Auto dann nur noch leid und alles vibriert. Vermisse meinen alten 1,2l mit 80PS.
@EmirAksel-u3jist selbst beim gsi so. Früher hat man auch weniger an Lautstärke und Spritverbrauch gedacht. Der Astra K fährt 20kmh im ersten😂 und man muss öfter schalten dafür, weil so hoch übersetzt
Veo que en Alemania los conductores utilizan el carril de la izquierda para adelantar y lo dejan libre rápidamente, aquí en España además de tener la velocidad mucho más limitada hay conductores que se apoderan del carril izquierdo para ir a 80km/h y ni bocinas ni ráfagas de luz larga lo hacen abandonarlo, te miran por el espejo retrovisor y allí se quedan.😡😡😡 Saludos desde Mallorca.
Why is this struggling for 100mph so much? Had my neighbours bouncing off the limiter at 135mph...Downhill ofcourse but reaches 115mph on the flat easily, in UK too not this autobahn stuff
