Great deck and annoying to play against. Back in the day, I played agaist this guy who would end the game in an instant. He didn't bother with multiple battles and stuff. He would drop either the falcon and epp han, leia, chewie and luke in space or the mains on the ground and play frozen assets before battle. Then it's the add two destiny interrupts for all the main combos. 100 plus battle damage and done.
Aside from falling into the trap of deploying/interacting with your opponent before completing the tests, what are the primary ways this deck can be beaten? Is there a way for dark side to get on Dagobah early and torpedo things near the very beginning? Maybe by killing Yoda or something?
I've enjoyed watching all your videos as I'm coming back to the game after a long hiatus (played casually during the Decipher era, and that's about it). A question - maybe its obvious and I'm missing it - how do you use Fall of the Legend in this deck? Is it just for the destiny? Or am I missing the Weather Vane somewhere? Thanks!
Thanks man! Glad you’re enjoying them. This is just a simple cycling destiny 6 card. You have one or a few cards left in your reserve deck or something, search it for a weather vane, you don’t find it, but this guy is going to the top of your used pile and you’ll know exactly where it is for later usage. You could use something like “Throw me another charge” as well to get that 6 back in the deck.
Thanks guys for these videos! They're so helpful for deck building and really just understanding the game. I am just getting back in to this game on gemp after 20 or so years. It's quite a bit different playing as an adult. Shout out to Steve and Andy, I really think you need them in a video together.
Stacking R2 in Red 5 is the dream but it can be easier to just stack Fall Of The Legend, a Used 6. Having a 6 all the time is plenty great, no need to be too greedy! :)
I've heard multiple times that Daughter of Skywalker is better for this over Son of Skywalker, can you explain why? Is it just the extra 1 Force generation?
Fun video. Great explanation. What would be an equally fun, thematic Dark Side deck to play against this?

While thematic, this is probably one of my least favorite kind of decks in swccg. It’s just solitaire. That’s not what I want from a game, typically.

Excited to see this one piloted by a pro. No chance I was playing this one for my first ever P-DS2 event 😂 looks like a highly skillful one to pilot
Thanks for this video. Been wanting to try this objective in the retro league!

Agree! Also, if you ever want to come on the channel and do a video on an open deck or two, would love to do it!
Some open decks once in awhile would be nice.
Will add it to our list. Don’t know open super well, so it’s a bit of a mystery to me. But with the new set, would be good to learn some.
if you wanted to build this in paper, is there a budget alternative to the jedi lukes? i'd consider forking out for one, but i dunno about three
Proxy them. Nearly all events allow proxies.

Because you want Luke to go out and fight.
@@milesgreb3537 I see. So DoS isn't a better apprentice per se, you just don't want Luke sitting out during the training period?
Your pt of losing DoS early sucks, thats why Id replace the Cpt Han with a 2nd copy just incase.
Tell Andy not to take my C-3p0 😂
☕
Any idea if Luke Skywalker is of any worth today?
DS2 Jedi Luke....close to 300 I think. Foil is around 360.
No Reflection?
You put vide instead of video in the title.
😎😎😎 good catch :) I will fix. Thanks!
Add test 6 and then we're jamming
Test 6 is bad. You don’t need it. If you’re going to play test six cut it and play an x-wing cannons.
6 is good to bucket list though
