Great video! I just installed my AIM CVT temp gauge on my 2021 X3, and this helped a lot. Three things I learned while doing the install; 1) make sure you install the sensor fixing kit with the nut on the OUTSIDE of the CVT case. This gives the least obstruction to the sensor "eye", also make sure to use Loctite on the threads. 2) Use Loctite on the sensor threads, and install using hand tension, no tools. 3) You will need to cut off the power/ground connectors, install more wire to get to the power block, and add ring connectors to terminate with the power/ground block. I'm not sure what they had in mind, guessing they thought you would jump into a fuse box, but not the best way to go IMO. Looking forward to testing this in the spring!
Just installed mine, thanks for the video. Had a question about the power though. The connectors that came on the red and black power wires, for 1, don't reach the power block next to passenger seat, and also, aren't the right connectors to slide over the bolt (ring terminal style). What did you end up doing for the power? Was thinking of cutting off the supplied connectors, and installing ring terminal type, but wasn't sure if there was a different location to get power. Thanks
It tells you when the belt gets to hot. You can either pull over and let it cool down or dont go so hard. This helps you prevent the belt from breaking.
Who made this sensor kit and if you don’t mind a link. This should be on it from the factory, especially on the RR Max like I have and will be adding this for sure to mine👍❤️
Are you going to tune your cluch with spring in the secondary and spring and weights on the primary give you better throttle response. I in joy your videos I'm always wonder what your doing next. Stay safe.
Thank you and yes we will be adding clutch mods, exhaust, and tunes in the future. Not sure which tune yet but it will be either Evo or Whalen. Thanks for watching!

Good to hear Lakey! We are doing good!
Nice install! My gauge has saved me from doing damage a few times...
Thanks! Yeah I wanted to definitely prevent any damage to the belt casing and this gauge is working great. Thanks for watching!
The opening music almost gets me to skip every video! But the videos are great!

You can add wire and then just put on the ring terminals to hook up to the power block. Thanks for watching!
Great video
Could you pls share the link where to purchase ?
There is a link in the description of this video. Thanks for watching!
Nice Gauge, Question did you put lock tight on the nut? I'd be concerned that nut coming loose and falling into the belt and clutch. Just a thought.
Yes I put the medium loctite. The guage is one of my favorite mods so far. Let's you know when to lay off the unit to cool off.
Pretty sure it’s upside down. The locking nut should be on the outside of the case.
@@blueline_raptor 100% - have pics of Mitch Guthrie’s RZR and they use 2
Ok beside reading belt temperature what benefit you get from this ??? Thanks

I have a link in the description of the video for the guage. It's a must have mod.

For the 35k I paid for mine, can am should include an extra belt, and a belt guage from factory and some side mirrors 😂
I agree! Lol
Does it come with the bracket
No its separate.
What's a boost gauge?
It tells you how much boost your turbo is putting out. The higher the boost the more horsepower you have by tuning the ECU and adding other mods.
Shows your car boost pressure, can show other stuff too.
