Bench Lake Fire Update 7/13/24 - 7:15AM

🔥 7/13 - 7:15 AM Update on the #2024BenchLakeFire
The higher humidity, low winds, and cooler overnight temperatures have helped keep the fire at bay.
Unfortunately, winds will pick up again this afternoon from the west, humidity will drop into the teens, and temperatures will rise for one last day before monsoonal moisture moves into the area.
🚫 The area is closed from south of the Stanley Ranger Station to the Redfish Lodge area and down to Decker Mountain. Please stay out of the area to allow fire crews to do their job safely and effectively.
