Wife recently sold her Ryker , we had to drop $3000.00 of our initial price ..But She needed to move on to to a Spyder RT so we reluctantly accepted the lower offer only to manage to save the same amount off of the Second hand RTL .. Thanks for your Help In that change over Steve . Thanks also to the rest of the Guys and Gals in the group for their advice and help :)
So my selling story Is that Tommy G and I put our 2018 bikes up for sale at the same time. Of course he had a Harley ultra Limited and I had a Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited both with almost 80,000 mi and we sold them this year. I literally sold my Spyder within a few hours of listing it, sight unseen. Of course, I bragged it up in the ad mentioning that it was a famous spyder belonging to Purple On Three 😅💜, ridden in 49 states. The Harley took 3 months to sell and he had to keep lowering the price. I think the issue for folks buying either one was the high miles... Of course we had all the maintenance records and did the maintenance regularly. But if I were looking to buy a used Spyder, I would have to say that I would think twice about all the miles...🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Just throwing this out there. A single rider can easily tour on an F3 Limited and be quite comfortable. I think my longest trip was 40 days... And out of those 40 days I believe I was on the bike for 37 of them..
When Tommy G was riding my 2018 we had put the kanines on... He said he did not care for the ride as much as the stock tires. A little too stiff for him. I can't speak to that because I didn't ride it very much with those tires. I am looking forward to trying the new tires coming out in the spring over here. Do you have access to them yet there?
Wow! Too bad about your friend not selling it for 25.... I actually had folks offer me a lot less than what I was asking but I felt my price was fair and obviously it was "more than fair" if I sold it within a few hours of posting it...
Good video Stevs. Very good points you make.

Maybe that's why mine sold so quickly ...It never sat still lol 😅😂
I would not touch a used vehicle without all the service records being available...
