    This is an excellent way to use up my instant espresso powder...which makes me wonder if there are caffienated coffee gummy bears. I used to buy the via packets to make my coffee drink stronger when I used to do store closing/store opening at my old job at the mall a few years ago.

      Sugarfina sells cold brew gummy bears. There’s a few different flavors and they are caffeinated bears!

    4:13 Uggggh, this part is tedious! I would use a large rectangular container instead of the ice cube tray since I have to cut them further anyway.

    Thanks Angel. I really enjoy watching your sites. For some reason I can't get the same boba or almond milk tea taste as the other chains out there. What are they doing diff?

    • @tenlittlepiggies634

      +May flower Have you read the ingredients in the mixes? Scary stuff. You're probably not getting the same taste because you're only using ingredients you can pronounce.

    Oops, sorry, accidentally hit the send button. Just put the coffee jellies into the frig to jellify.
    I found that using a paper towel to remove the bubbles,is quicker and
    efficient.
    I have a question about the boba.
    Can they be stored in simple syrup and used the next day or does it have one day shelf life only.
    Thanks so much Angel.

    • @angelwongskitchen
      @angelwongskitchen  9 років тому

      Cheryl S. I would recommend using the boba the same day. Once you put them in the fridge, the texture starts to change and loses it's chewiness.

    Hello Angel, I was wondering how much teaspoons or tablespoons you used for coffee because I don't have the via packets

    • @angelwongskitchen
      @angelwongskitchen  10 років тому

      Kathleen Padilla if you're brewing coffee in a coffee maker you can just brew to your liking. If you are using instant coffee I would follow the water to instant coffee ratios on the package.

    • @3129Al
      @3129Al 10 років тому

      No unless ur milk tea is hot

    • @angelwongskitchen
      @angelwongskitchen  10 років тому +1

      As long as the milk tea is served cold, the jelly won't melt. Coffee jelly is used as an add-in for drinks. Other variations include add-ins like boba, pudding, or lychee jelly. I've even seen some Starbucks stores in Asia serve coffee jelly too.

    • @sofiayang8839
      @sofiayang8839 9 років тому +1

      Angel Wong's Kitchen Can u maybe do a lychee jelly recipe? :D And is it possible/hard to make those 'popin boba'? Those ones that have a tin coat on the outside and in the inside (u have for example) pineapple juice and it pops open when u bite it.

    • @angelwongskitchen
      @angelwongskitchen  10 років тому +1

      May flower I usually buy the gelatine from the grocery store - it's cheaper. They usually sell it around the same place they sell Jello mix. If you can't find it at your store, you can buy it online. amzn.to/1oNUOt7
