Between the two of them, Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews have made me laugh so many times, it's almost freakish. Not just their writing either, although Arthur's "Prince hunting jockeys" sketch for Big Train is about as close to perfect as a comedy sketch can be. It's their little bits of performance, like Arthur's gleefully manic berating of Kevin Eldon in the "Army" sketch (I hate you! I HATE you! You BOLLOCKS!) and Graham's family restaurant mariachi song (Everyone is having having fun fun fun! Cos everything is nice! And everyone is friendly!) Love them to bits for so many reasons, not the least of which was Graham kindly answering my question about the writer credit for that Prince/jockeys bit.
Me and my mate was in local town centre at Christmas completely stoned standing around in the gift card stores laughing at the DOD greeting cards we found I bought one just to keep under my bed and would look at it when I came home high because seeing his face and grin gave me the giggles , my mum eventually found it and was confused why I had a DOD card in my room 😂
We go on about the Simpsons predicting this and that but Father Ted predicted Justin BIeber, but for old ladies rather than young girls (and more early Bieber).
