For our embroidery designs, we stitch with 3 strands, so you tie the end of the 3 strands but not the 2 ends together. (3 strands not 6). I hope that makes sense!
@@jeska753 Yes, there is a loose end that you will adjust as the length gets shorter. When I stitch, I find that I hold both strands in my fingers while I'm stitching, so it's not likely to lose the other end. If you do from pulling too vigorously, you can just rethread the needle :)

That makes sense, so is the string loose at the needle end? Nothing keeps it from coming out other than just going slowly with care?
