Don't be afraid to tackle this alternator swap on your own. If I can do it, with minimal help, anybody can. I know that sounds very cliche, but I mean it; I'm not a mechanic and my left arm is paralyzed, so I enlisted the help of my son just to undo the belt, to hold the alternator when I loosened it up and to pull it out once the bolts were out, and then the same in reverse order to put everything back on. I've done it twice already: the first time because the alternator went bad and four years later because the battery went bad, since I bought one with lifetime warranty, it didn't cost me anything the second time except the time I put in to take it off, exchange at the auto parts store, and put back on.👍

Easy to do and not too many bolts involved.
Nice work, I found out all or most of the ones at parts store were only 110 volts and factory is 140, kept messing up since lack of power. Just started using mopar one , they have 140 and a 160, and was quite reasonable and priced close to autozone
Never thought of that. I do like a better and more reliable part. Fuel injectors is next up for that Jeep. No junky ones.
Piece of cake, more traditional on that motor than the Pentastar.
The old one still worked it was out on the way out... I'll keep it for a trail fix on out of Florida trips.
Matt I watch your videos all the time and I see you drive several different jeeps what is the average lift height that you incorporate on your vehicles to do your offroad wheeling?
For here in Florida we can get some deep ruts in water holes, so the red and blue are at 3 1/2" so I can fit 35s or 38s if needed. The black 95 has 2 1/2 with leaf springs. The little green frog is stock... for now.
