Only discovered your channel yesterday and have watched all fourteen episodes. Really enjoyed it, brought back a lot of memories and also several little things I had forgotten about these motors. I rebuilt many grey's in the 60's, very simple engines. This is going to be a real sweet little motor, you've really gone into great detail, it's a blueprinted motor now. By the way, don't be concerned about how you can push the rockers sideways along the shaft against those springs. That's normal and I don't recall ever hearing of one coming adrift.
Cool mate, yeah no lock tite on it mate. Can’t see what soaking brass in oil is going to achieve. Technically brass is self lubricant if when on steel, however I did give the gearbox about a light lick of moly
I'm really enjoying your content. There is bugger all stuff on UA-cam in regards to restoring Australian cars. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Send it Drew...!
Don't doubt yourself
It’s hard sometimes working alone, I have no one to bounce ideas off.

Awsome Pete thanks for the comment.
I’m looking forward to giving the old girl a whirl!😊
Looking good drew. Looking forward to the fire up video.
Same here mate. Hopefully not too far off now
pretty dog gone cool man
we took the springs out of the rocker arm and made a brass bush to stop the side movement.
That’s a good idea
Never put locktight on the spigot bearing you may need to replace that & you should soak them in oil overnight
