The kid who plays Number 5 should have absolutely gotten an Emmy. He pulls off being not just an adult but one who's older and smarter than everyone else so well.
Liz D what I don’t like about him is his constant frown, makes his character who as you said is an adult, have like a cartoonish personality or image
its cool though Really? I think his constant frown helped with the image. Fitting of someone who spent the majority of his life in a barren apocalyptic wasteland after all. Besides in the comics and show, there’s also supposed to be a comedic element of his consciousness not syncing up with how he looks despite the fact that his personality is serious. His “old man” expressions are going to look cartoonish when he is trapped in a kids body. That’s the point of number five. It’s a brilliant contrast to his violent tendencies and seriousness.

Diego, Number 5, and Klaus are the best character. Honestly, the only one I dislike at times is Luther.

I personally find Number 5 really annoying. Klaus is definitely the best but Vanya is oddly charming as well.

No, The Boys subverts superhero tropes whilst the people in this show aren't really superheroes, they are just superpowered. The only one who is a superhero in any sense is Diego.

Four was my favorite right away... and stayed my favorite the entire time. A lot of it was just because Robert Sheehan's acting was amazing.

I really hope y'all will start reacting to The Untamed. It's a really amazing Chinese series from 2019 (it's complete) with supernatural elements that you can watch on Netflix, Viki (I prefer the subs here, but there are ads) or on UA-cam (for free). Like, I cannot stress enough how much of a gem it is. The complex and layered characterization, character dynamics and plot are impeccable. Despite limitations imposed by Chinese censorship and low budget, it manages to deliver an amazing, compelling story about justice vs thirst for power, love and family, mob mentality vs morality etc. The two leads are SO GOOD! (and also this drama said fck you to censorship and managed to somehow still portray the love between the two)
It's confusing for the first 3-4 episodes, but when you start getting it, you don't wanna stop watching. I'm not exaggerating: there are so many ppl who experienced this!

the show has so many plot twists it’s ridiculous 😂 it’s like they love each other cause they were raised as family but they’re dysfunctional at the same time🤷🏽♀️ just some background on the siblings
Luther (big one) number 1 - super strength
Diego number 2 - throwing knives
Allison number 3 - The Rumor (she basically alters reality by telling the truth in a twisted way)
Klaus number 4 - can contact the dead
Number 5 - teleports
Ben (dead) number 6 - possesses monsters from other dimensions under his skin
