Way off here, but since you will have the time to...have you mounted any of your cameras to the driveline to see transmission, driveshaft, and rear axle relation during launch?
When my 70 was high in the back and stock uppers, wheel shudder so bad it pulled both RH back body mounts.
After fixing mounts and going poly, I installed adjustable uppers, set pinion angle slightly downward, lowered rear end. Completely eliminated issue. Can hit it hard and rear responds flawlessly.
Glad for your friends and that you had a decent season. Hope both stud and rear issues get resolved so you can wring it out next time - sure deserved after constant effort!
Thanks for the comments. I have tried to put a camera on the driveline, and didn't get any valuable footage. I would have to figure out how to mount something better.

Your first two launches seems to me like the first one bog and then the second one shuttered your hood so what gears are you running in your rear seems like you're running in the red and top-end so you really can't expect to get any more out of it and all the corrections going to be off the line in reaction times, so practically you can figure out what it would really do if it was smooth
3.91 gears. The launch is all in the clutch slip. I don't side step.
@@SS454LS6 Have not seen to many using that gear ! may be 411 would get you out of the hole enough to make the difference and it worth trying an air bag on the passenger side to equalize the rear ,i have seen nothing but improvement with a few friends !
