Good punch up whilst it lasted. We know what Cruz is. He's the guy that beats everyone except Shakur, Tank and possibly Haney.....possibly as Haney is chin sensitive. But what happens at 135/140 not sure. He'll own 130 as Tank will campaign at 140 once he's taken care of Haney & Teo. Tank will only fight Shakur at a catch weight somewhere close to 140. But Shak looks like he's growing up 140 and looking stronger the heavier he is. Issac is basic for me. A great personality, a slugger and a stoppage artist. He has the power 126-135 to trouble anyone but not necessarily the skills. He'll win a lot of fans,(I am one), make a lot of money, be in great fights but dominate the lightweight division as top dog NO

Don't give a damn about those judge's decisions, Cruz had Tank Davis on the defense, he was all over him and he was the best opponent to date who stood toe to toe in that ring with Davis and gave him one hell of a fight. There definitely should have been a rematch this guy is a beast in the ring refusing not to budge one inch once he goes to work. A much-underrated fighter who could take on the likes of Garcia or Haney and give them punishment once they step in that ring. He has the stamina, endurance and punching power to give anybody in that division a very, very difficult time. I believe in being objective and give credit where credit is due.

Yes, Cruz is a beast but he doesn’t have enough power behind them punches. If Tank had his left hand on that night Cruz would have walked himself right into the slump. Shakur would beat Cruz as there is still something missing but I’m not sure of what it is. I’d wait to put Cruz in the ring and work on what is missing.
