Mate u built a brilliant sliding table but the whole table saw is a stunning piece of work my friend.. Keep up the great work too btw.. Ur inspiring ppl like me to build my own one day soon so I can replace the crap one I have atm..
Could somebody please explain the blue MDF? I thought I heard somebody say it was just a Food Dye or Colourant?? Is there any truth to this claim or am I way off. I don't know what to call it and therefore don't know what to ask for when I go into the place to buy sheet goods.. I Love the look of this so much I had to come back and say some more about it. I have that same Mitre Gauge but I want to make a longer fence for it or maybe get a nice piece of Aluminium. It's expensive now but we will see what it is soon enough, price wise.. LOL It all comes down to cost nowadays anyway. Look after the pennies and the pounds take care of themselves.. I love the look of the blue on the table top. It makes ur saw pop my bro. Again I want to thank u for this video. It is helping me out so much with measuring the Block holes for the MDF top. I might change to that plywood with the brown coloured film, Phelonic?? I might be wrong with the spelling of that.. LMAO. Keep up the great work pal. Take it easy there.. Salute!!! ✌
A sliding table is great for crosscuts- but why not have it extend right up to the side of the blade? Minimizes overhang, and therefore increases accuracy. Linear rails are great, but not so much when mounted on wood. There is a reason good table saws are made from cast iron- even aluminium alloy is not rigid enough. Wood? Nope.

Can you list the Hardware, rails and pillow blocks?
You have 6 linear bearings; when pulling the table out (toward you) do the first pair of bearings extend beyond the rail?
