I mean he can barely graft two sentences together if they don't somehow involve himself, lol, so he definitely wouldn't have known if she was in it. We were constantly shown in the first one that he isn't really smart enough to go to Midtown Tech. Homecoming and FFH both show his family is rich, so it's no stretch that he wanted to change his identity from rich bully to famous in his own way, even if by proxy, like a lot of these tiktokkers and youtubers that came from money. His livestream in FFH was full of paid bots, he was trying to be a kind of dj in Homecoming. He always was at Spider-Man's defense, makes sense that he wanted to claim to be Spidey's best friend and since he knows Peter won't beat him up and doesn't have the money to lawyer up and he didn't know what would happen before the identity reveal, he can now claim that. It's really subtle character growth. Also, he definitely paid someone to ghostwrite that book. Probably put in a few points for the book to hit on, omitting Ned and anyone who isn't himself, Spidey, and probably Iron Man and maybe Cap. Probably has a part in there that says he met Iron Man through his friendship with Spider-Man and Tony said for Flash to look out for Peter because he's so smart and brave and strong, lol.
Glad to see more of him in school, it's kind of compacted way to much in one scene in the movie of just how Peter going to school was suddenly a big deal.
The thief in the first clip was Tom hollands real life brother and Tom told the directors to make sure he ends up upside down so that he could spend the day upside down and see how much hard work it is and they ended up cutting the scene 🤣
The elevator scene is perfect no dialogue, and thats really what I love about the entire mcu, they just allow these people to exist, not as characters but as people.
It's not "Can they fit everything they shot?" It's "What helps the movie and what doesn't?" The three Spider-Man banter is already long and varied, and the commentary about Tobey's web was already done elsewhere. It drags on and doesn't really add anything.

I remember a couple weeks ago i went to the movies to see this movie because i couldn’t believe it was back in theaters and i couldn’t find anywhere where it was streaming and i saw these new scenes i was like “i don’t remember that??”
some of these scenes would've made no way home feel more like a 'Home' spiderman trilogy movie. it still felt true to itself, but some of these scenes like when he's recovering the money from that thief (who is tom holland's little brother irl) and then the students embarassing him scene would have been nice to kept in the final cut. the beginning of this movie felt a little rushed tbh, these little scenes would've been nice, and felt more like a spider man movie more than just a fantasy mcu movie. it did feel like a spiderman movie but these scenes would have been the icing on the cake. this movie is great but after watching this movie it just made me think you know

I would have loved this movie to be 2 part movies. The first movie could have shown us Peter's life after the revealing of his identity and him trying to prove he is innocent and the second movie could have shown us the multiverse things. For a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, I was disappointed there's no interaction between Peter and civilians after Doc Oc shows up in the movie. I think how different his life became would have made a very interesting movie and it would have fixed the movie's major pacing problem.
If the MCU made this peter parkers origin story a movie first and then made a spider verse trilogy with the trio including the rest it would've been perfection. You know Maguire and Garfield would've been down.

I didn’t need the student interviews, that was a but silly, but I liked the rest of the scenes. Clearly this wasn’t cut from the lab scene (I hoped it would have) but I would have liked Andrew’s Peter to talk about his best friend turning evil and his uncle dying (because that didn’t just happen to Toby). I know it was implied, but I think having it more clearly articulated would have been good. Toby got to express how those situations made him feel, but Andrew only focused on Gwen. I know it was important for his character to get some closure on that particular trauma. However it would have showed the similarities between Toby and Andrew’s Peters experiences. Also there would have been a great opportunity to address what happened to Tom’s Peter’s parents and whether he actually had an Uncle Ben as well. I think in Far From Home Peter had a briefcase with Ben’s initials on it.

I get why stan Lee wrote having web shooters, but ut doesn't make sense that Peter has all the 'powers' characteristics of a spider except what they do.. make organic webs...😅 Strange lee did that. I like that he has webs in his blood 👍🏻 my favourite Spiderman Tobey.
As cool as it would have been, I can kinda see why they cut the school wall climbing scene. You can see how they messed up the the rope pull. The momentum from his jump is totally delayed, it looks more like he jumps and then is gravitated towards the wall.
