- So in the last episode we purchased a salvaged VW caddy from Copart which had been involved in an accident and subsequently written off by the insurance company! I initially thought it was just a front wing that was damaged but on first inspection I was totally wrong, the whole wheel is pushed back into the sill. So today we are stripping down the caddy and seeing what damage has been done.

Bit late but bought a car with similar damage, wishbone looked like only damage. Turned out shock rod was bent and hub bearing had actually exploded, replaced everything and car runs perfect :)

Double check that strut, brake discs look fubbared, and make sure the gear box is good after taking a hit like that from the drive shaft. Looks decent if you get away with all that though. 👏
