- I didnt want to do this, but its getting to the point where its hard to ignore.
Anyway i wont dwell on it for too long, we complete a tonne of jobs on the E30 today, and its going to get an exhaust tomorrow and then a week after its going to get painted. Were finally here people, just the FINAL PUSH!

Fuck the comments mate like I said the cars abit chucked together cos you need it done fast an you haven’t built 5/10 track/ drift cars before so the cars not going to be perfect but if it does the job an you have address some issues once it been out it’s all part of it

On those bonnet pins use a bit of rubber hose cut it to length u need it’ll hold the bonnet to the height u need and will stop the bonnet rattling

Everyone is very opinionated these days and the reality is they are not happy or jealous.
Fair play for giving it a go, yes you may have done things that some people don't like but it doesnt matter, your learning and your building a cool drift car. I admire the channel and the drive to give it a go. :)

My 2pence...Hasn't pretty much all your drift content fallen flat? I.e the soarer way back. I think the mustang maybe did alright? As it was more interesting learning how to drift etc So probably why this isn't going so well - and neither will the drift content once the cars finished 🤔 Hope i'm wrong! Pretty sure you've said it in a past video yourself though

Yes lee, love it. I done pretty much the same with my soarer and now my s14. Full strip and rebuild. Yes some bits still need a "tidy" but we dont do this for a living and its still a bloody good job we have done. When its done, driving and banging doors it will make you appreciate it that little bit more 💪💪🔥

Loving this build mate. One suggestion is raise all corners of the bonnet more. When the engine flexes any contact with the bonnet risks leaks or damage.
In short Lee, my advice is.................................................................fuck em! Do whatever you like mate and if people don't like it, they can turn right, gain height and do one. Doin a great job pal - keep goin m8.

Could you not use plexiglass? as you can get it cut to size then just bolt it in? only if you cant find a windscreen by the time you need it? 👍

I had the same on forums, I was told rebuilding my engine in my back garden was impossible, so I showed them and proved them wrong.

Honestly, mate, ignore the people bitching and moaning. I've been watching since the early days of installing neons on your driveway in the green coat, the fiesta, the astra and teaching people how to make their car pop and bang lol. It's seriously impressive how far you've come and how much you've taught yourself. Do you always do things they way i would? Maybe not, but it's not me doing the work, and it's not my car, so that doesn't matter. I'll always watch the content and enjoy it regardless.

Way I see it is ypu earned the money to buy the car and mods and equipment so I have no right to comment whether I like or don't like how you do things. It's entirely up to you. Sometimes you ask us to tell you our opinions and that's fair enough but no way would I tell anyone that they are doing their own anything wrong. Offer advice if you know something better or easier or a method etc but I don't get how telling a youtuber they hate their work is productive and time efficient. Just stop watching the content if your not happy. Carry on doing what's always been your way of doing things and what got you your subscribers and likes mate.
Been watching for years mate, massively impressed with what you’ve done. Only thing that gets me is when you use euros, use jayar car parts mate there’s one in north fleet, much better products and decent prices! (Yes I’m a manager for one of them) 😂

With the brske disc heat shield - if it were going to be used on the road I would run them, if you were track day'ing or racing it I'd run them modified with cooling ducts to the centre of the rotor. I don't know enough about drifting to have an opinion on whether they're needed or not? 😊

Was told the brake Shield was in case the drive shaft cv boot failed and grease flys everywhere it’ll stop the grease contacting the disc, you know what you’re doing anyway lad, keep it up 👍🏻
Got my knuckles and arms from wiz of lock, his kit is awesome. I never put front brake shields on the knuckles and i run the l2d wet days, never had an issue plus i drive to the track so you with a trailer should be fine id have thought 👌

Lee smashes it at a much more relatable budget/tool availability than a Mat Armstrong for example. You can enjoy both styles of content without bitching in the comments.
Said it early on in the build Lee this is my favourite build you’ve ever done and I don’t even like BMW’s 🤣 haters will go the real ones will stay grind away mate 🤘🏻
Should 100% take the car to someone to do all of the suspension set up want to maximise the usage of them, ps am not hating just I been in that situation before for a track car my car was set up by my self and was all wrong but I felt like it was all sweet until I got it set up 🤣
Personal I think you have done an amazing job to get the car to where you have don't worry or think about the negative comments to much your always going to get them there are a lot of us loving this build.
Really enjoying these builds tbh. My only criticism is I wish you alternated the uploads I miss the reliant and the 190e🤣
