Are you catless or no? Trying to preview what I just ordered lol. Sounds great. I am straight off the turbo so trying to find someone else running these with catless at least, but catless and no resonator is ideal.
@@boostedrex9460sold it. Really never liked the look of the newer ones. Would love to find an old 04/05 to rebuild or even a wide body from the hatch years. One day.
2015sti for sure man. I think all of these Nameless muffler delete videos have me sold on one for my FXT. I think I'm going to get the axle back muffler deletes then work my way back. From what I've read, you don't need a tune until you start changing the down pipe or intake, right?
Toby Hearsey Yeah! You are fine with a catback or axelback without a tune. Just need to get a tune when you get a downpipe or intake. I got the Axelback first then added the midpipe.
The thing I love about the nameless muffler delete is that it isn't loud until you want it to be, like if you're just cruising around town it isn't loud at all just sounds a beautiful rumble, but when you open it up, man she's screams like she should, and on the highway there's basically no drone at all especially if you turn the dccd into intelligent mode it is like turning down the exhaust volume lol
Wat is the difference between the stock midpipe and then this nameless midpipe any sounds different,? I got the nameless axleback with 4" double wall stagerd i was thingking of getting the nameless midpipe?
+2015sti would you recommend this nameless midpipe non resonated? Other than that i will also be installing cobb downpipe and tomie equal header with the up pipe.,
+Brendan Mahon It really does change it. It goes takes it to the next level of sound. Similar tone but a little deeper. Depends if you want to have it louder. I like the sound more but it is a lot louder (but not loud enough to get in trouble ;)
Ah cool, yeah I have the deletes and would like it to go a bit deeper. Does that resonator help eliminate drone or does that just not matter due to the volume at this point lol.
+Brendan Mahon I have the resonated and it helps it be less raspy. I had the 4 inch mufflers non resonated on my last car an it was a beast!! its actually really quiet unless you are under load. I would get the resonator. The cold start without a resonator is..........probably too loud.
KingKushPush no the axle back is without the mid pipe. He has the cat back 4 in. staggered single wall. which is much more expensive. The axle back is a cheaper alternative but sound is limited due to the stock mid pipe.
did you have any issues with the passenger tips sagging a little bit lower than the driver side? I have the same set up on my 17 STI and i have to go back next week to the shop that installed them because they sag a little bit and poke out farther than the left side.
That sounds like just a little adjustment issue. If its close, you should just be able to move the rubber hangers a bit. If not you might need to rotate the midpipe. It did take a little time to get it set in the correct place. Good luck!!
Thinking of going 4in tips, muffler deletes full catback on my 2014 wrx hatch. Currently catted dp. I'm assuming it's louder than your setup. I'm making the jump to muffler(less) from a Cobb cbe. You think it'll be way too loud or should I go with the 4in mufflers? It's my daily and I'm looking to go louder. Do you think it's too much? I want the 4in mufflers but if they're not loud enough...I'll be annoyed haha
Awesome! Could you link the parts you have from Nameless? This sounds perfect! I would like to order the same setup soon. Does the midpipe install require a tune afterwards? Want the mean, lovely sounds like this but want my warranty as well...any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks for sharing. Still stock at 1200 miles...can't wait.
***** Thanks! The midpipe and axleback don't require a tune. You only need to tune if you get a downpipe or intake (possible warrantee issues). Just a catback of any kind should not void your warrantee. I have had a nameless catback on my previous wrx and have never had issues. I purchase the axelback and then 8 months later got the midpipe. I cant link to the exact product but here it what I got - shop.namelessperformance.com/2015-wrx-sti-catback/ 4" Quad staggered Double Wall Tips 5 Bushings Muffler Delete
@@sti-tr1se did the midpipe make a big difference? It’s also reasonated right? Compared to the stock? I got the nameless muffler delete but want it louder
+dominic piscopo Just the muffler part is super easy, you don't really even need to lift the car. When I added the mid pipe it took a little longer but still manageable
dan vazquez Nice! I think I have gotten used to the volume, took a few weeks. Still loud but doesn't bother me. I haven't done a roadtrip with this setup yet.
+xuimod I seriously only noticed it when my window was cracked or when I was really just driving like an ass whole but under normal driving conditions (and I drive a lot and far) I really wouldn't notice it
I had a 2015 sti with this exhaust. I come back to this video from time to time just to hear it again. Man, I loved that car.
What happen to it bro

Dadlegz lol this is good to know thank you haha
Sounds really good! love the pop / crackling sounds on gear changes!
That's it!!! That's the sound I need ...I have the performance set up on my 16 and it sounds great just not as good as it could sound!
Wat is the difference between the stock midpipe and then this nameless midpipe any sounds different,? I got the nameless axleback with 4" double wall stagerd i was thingking of getting the nameless midpipe?
+teamsavage308 It's 3" and makes the tone a lot deeper/louder. I had that 4" axleback and a non resonated midpipe on a 2012 hatch, It sounded amazing.
+2015sti would you recommend this nameless midpipe non resonated? Other than that i will also be installing cobb downpipe and tomie equal header with the up pipe.,
nameless doesn't have a non resonated mid pipe so you would have to have someone cut the resonator off.
I got nameless 4" muffler put on a few months ago and really like the sound but I think the next step for my exhaust to get the the mid-pipe.
yes!
God damn that sounds good
What do you like more, the Catback or the Axelback?
+Tyler Plunkett I like the catback a lot better. It feels complete. It also makes some new sounds :)
@@sti-tr1se if the muffler deletes like a 6/10 loudness how loud is the catback conversion with the mid pipe?
Sounds amazing, getting one in July 😁
Does it pop and burble?
+David Hammoud yes, it does. especially with rev match down shifts.
you don't need a tune with a catback exhaust I'm pretty sure right? They just recommend I forget why tho
smitten....that popping!!!
Was there a big difference in power from the axleback to catback?
+Brandon Kent Not noticeable. Maybe with a tune. Now its just one step away from a full turboback.
What kind of sound difference did you get when you added the midpipe? I have the axleback and cant decide if the midpipe is worth it.

much drone ?
any idling problems??
no. not with this setup
