  • I got the chance to clean this MASSIVE block paving driveway and what a job it was! TWO DAYS of cleaning resulted in an absolutely jaw dropping transformation.
Using my 21lpm pressure washer with Flat Surface Cleaner and Turbo Nozzle, alongside new purchase, the X-Jet. We were able to revitalize this tired driveway.
Diamond Exterior Cleaning are a cleaning company based in and around Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, England.
Thank you so much for watching :)

💎Hello all! Thank you for coming back to another video, this one is a LONG one, so settle down and enjoy!
This one was my biggest domestic job yet, and was the second part to another clean on the channel (the one with the swimming pool) so if you haven't seen that one, take a peek after if you like.
I appreciate you all, have a lovely day! 💎
    Jake

You were so funny about the drain being too much for us. I watch drain cleaning from Australia, UK, Pakistan, Germany and Korea! It is fascinating to see how differently the job is approached in each country and how differently drains are constructed. Plus other power washers have to clear drains too. So just keep on working and learning and believe we can tolerate anything.

Haha thank you Sharyn! There is definitely a lot for me to learn about the different drainage situations!! Every job seems to have a different set of rules and things to work around. Thank you for such a kind comment and see you in the next one :D 💎

Whoa 😳 😳 😳 I am so impressed with you right now! That is a gigantic job and almost immediate you knew that the FSC wasn't going to be cleaning it good enough to YOUR STANDARDS it may have been good enough for the customer but it just wasn't for your own peace of mind. That is one of the most commendable things I've seen in a long time !!! Be proud sir! Be very proud! You did an excellent job and your hard work has not gone unnoticed. We all see how good you are. Just the fact that you didn't take the easy way out when you could have is the whole point. I hope that you get so many more referrals and jobs from this bcuz you 💯 deserve it! Congratulations my friend! So proud of you !

I always use Polypropylene heavy duty rubble bags 50cm x 90cm for all the slush when cleaning, if you put the bags next to hedges etc the water will flow out of the porous bags and as thed dry out as you carry on working they become lighter to handle which means when you empty them into the customers garden rubbish bin you dont end up pouring loads of dirty water in it too. Let me know if you want the link and I'll send it 👍Great job by the way. 😁

Baz, thank you that's great advice! Are they the bags that look like big IKEA bags? Yes please if you could send me the link I'll take a look. It will certainly "Look" more professional, I'm conscious sometimes of the water going in there!
Thank you for the kind words too mate, I appreciate you taking the time to watch :) 💎

Good job nice to do these big Driveways
The rubbish that bin would have been a night mare for them to pull with that much Wight in it... did they not say nothing to you about it?
I did a small driveway a few weeks ago there wasn't much rubbish so I thought I will pop it into a bag and put it in their bin.... went back a few days later to resand he had only pull it out of the bin and said I don't want that in my bin... so I put a cost on the rubbish removal now.

Thank you Joseph, The customer actually suggested it, I think they might disperse the sludge when it's dry around some of their flowerbeds. I've had a few bit's of feedback advising not to put too much liquid in if I can avoid it so will be doing my best to avoid that in the future!
Do you have to have a license to carry the waste away? I was told you need a hazardous waste license for moss etc. I'd rather not have to have that hanging over my insurance lol! Not really ran into a problem as of yet but thank you for your advice mate, just got to make sure you are doing what the custy wants! :D Thanks for watching pal.

  • @superblastpressurewashing.7256

Wow it came out fantastic. Do you ever use a surface cleaner? The work would get done in hours, not days. Get after it. Great job.

    • @diamondexteriorcleaning
      @diamondexteriorcleaning  2 роки тому

I do use a surface cleaner buddy, just unfortunately on this job there was weeds and plants too deep in the cracks for the surface cleaner to clear out. I was forced to use the turbo nozzle if I wanted a proper result!
Thank you so much for the kind words mate!

The bins are a ton weight when you empty sludge into them. I wouldn't be doing that if I'm honest . Need to find a way of letting the water escape beforehand, then its half the weight

    • @diamondexteriorcleaning

Absolutely mate, there is a comment below from Baz where he has given me an alternative, using bags to drain the water from the sludge. Thank you for watching pal, I still have a lot to learn!

My favorite way to clean is from a stable tripod, not a POV camera. In other words, I don’t want to do pressure washing I want to relax and watch someone else do the work. You didn’t think UA-cam is populated by millions of professional pressure washers just itching to get our hands dirty? What makes these videos “oddly satisfying” and relaxing is that we get to just watch in our pajamas. But it’s not relaxing to have POV footage - I don’t want the point of view of someone doing the work, or the POV a of the machine, or of a bug on the ground. I want the POV of someone relaxing on the sidelines. POV is not well suited to an activity with a lot of motion like pressure washing. Millions of us are susceptible to motion sickness - it makes me dizzy and nauseated when you mount me on a washer and whip my vision around wildly so I have to fast forward past all those parts. Please, keep the POV to a minimum and limit to less jerky activities while I pray for the quick demise of the UA-camrs fad for POV footage 😂 Edit: I was joking about whether you thought all your viewers were professional pressure washers but you just asked us to recommend some kind of chemical to add to the x-jet 😮 I have never been with 100 meters of a real pressure washers or x-jet in my whole life, LOL I appreciate your work ethic btw, beautiful job on this huge driveway! And thank you for not including any boring re-sanding footage - it’s not a fascinating change from dirty to clean or foam to rinsed, it’s just all similar and repetitive. Cheers
