Just think about for a moment Sid, it's been almost a year now since the vehicle incident, and look what you have accomplished, you now have two vans set up and working almost daily compared to just before the incident you were sometimes scrounging for work to do, you've come a long way since then, be proud of what you have accomplished

Sid I just wanted to let you know your videos helped me get out of a depression and get my flat clean.
It may sound silly and stupid but I got injured at work last summer and with my back injury and living alone and the depression that came with it all, my little 1 bed flat became quite a mess, and the winter mildew got really bad and I felt like I didn't have the strength or stamina to sort it. I started watching your videos and intially it was more like watching someone else doing stuff because I can't do it myself, but seeing you go above and beyond every time motivated me, and made me feel like maybe I can do it? It took me an entire month but I managed to get all the mold off and treated the walls, and even repainted. Then it looked so nice I felt I had to repaint the windowsils and window frames and throw out the old mildew infested blinds and put up new curtains, then I decided to get some new storage furniture and packed all my clutter away, and finally I ordered myself some nice indoor plants to bring some life inside since I cant get out much. Literally took me an entire month (prob closer to 6 weeks) of doing a tiny bit every day just until my back was like "for gods sake woman stop" but I did it, and genuinely your videos are what made me do it. So thank you :)

Don't apologize for doldrums, Sid. We all get them. Sorry you had to have that for a month but glad you're feeling better.
This patio job is spectacular. Will biocide help that area with the raised grate or would it get diluted by rain and not matter?
The perfectionist in me would be really bothered cutting the stop line, too. I'd be conflicted about leaving a card for the other side. What did you decide?

Love the video. Not sure if you can find them in the UK (though with all of your gardens over there, I don't know why you wouldn't), but here in the USA you can find non-kinking garden hoses at hardware stores. You want to keep hose full of water when you recoil it. Best way is to put a sprayer nosel on it and keep it closed, then afterwards, open sprayer to dump as much water as possible because it can be heavy. I’ve seen a truck that bolted two rims on the side of his truck to then recoil hose into a big figure 8, then strap with bungee cords. This way, the inside of your van won’t get wet or dirty. 😃

The walls looked dirty but it wasn't until you started cleaning them that it really showed! They looked brand new after you were done, just amazing. The steps and the path way also turned out so beautiful. I was laughing at one point because I was thinking that I hoped you would clean the plastic container at the top and you went ahead and did it LOL I am so glad you cleaned the back wall as well, you are absolutely right that you could not leave it LOL I would have just done the neighbors step and stairs anyway. Good will advertising. Once they saw you had done the step and looked at the neighbors drive, they may have very well asked them for your number to come and do theirs as well. LOL You never can tell! I love to watch you work because you do such a wondrful job and I love to see it. It is hard when weeks go like that and affect your income and harmony at home. She got a quote from a guy to repair it so I just paid it, luckily it cost less than the job I was doing for her!

OK this video is old so maybe you've already found a solution to the hose kinking problem BUT I work some in AV/Theatre and we were taught the "over under cable wrap" method to avoid kinking the WIRES inside $1k cables and destroying them. Not sure how that would play in your operation because it would exclude a reel entirely but the benefit would come in unwinding! You connect the ends of the hose/cable when finished and when unwinding you just grab the connected ends and throw. Nary a kink or a tangle, it's extremely satisfying.

Does the hose kink whilst pressurised as well as unpressurised?
Silly question Sid; have you got a couple of small drain holes at the bottom of your Trug, to let the water slowly drain out slowly?

Try and change the tap end of your orange house that you connect to customers house with a on and off ball valve tap so when you disconnect the hose still has water stored in the house, it should hold up to not kink due to the water being stored inside the hose

hiya ! so nice results !
you could look for marine grade hoses, those are strengthened so they "should not kink"

When you were across the street and the car ran over your hose, I cringed. As a firefighter one of the ultimate sins is to run over a hose. Granted, is a bit different, but still, yikes.
Good job(s). Glad you're back in action.
