Just got done with my Trials card, looking forward to TFS
Im calling it now, the Void weapons will have infinite ammo reserve but not like ballistics ult - instead you will have to recharge your bullets meaning you have to get kills/damage, loot or wait to get your ammo and does not take up any inventory space. This is what I believe is a tester possibly for arrow weapons to be broadened to void weapons whereby arrow based weapons, explosive guns and knives weaponry - all potential future weapon additions, may be grouped under void weapons in which they all recharge ammo. We will see though

@@nvmb6451 thx. It was just a concept I had a while ago but it will only be needed if we get additional ammo types since having more than 6 in the game will clog the loot pool up too much. It solves the issue whilst giving a unique feature to these weapons. Also respawn can balance the explosive weapons by how fast they recharge bullets. So for an rpg, you can pick it up with 2 rounds, then it will recharge one every 30 seconds. Quite a long cooldown but will balance the weapon. It is probably the best solution so far for adding explosive weapons etc whilst not affecting the loot pool or making the guns annoying to fight against

@@Michael-i6s2b - i thought of something like that but i thonk having infinite recharging ammo is more unique as for something the devs can test out and fits the name "void" since you could be getting the bullets from the void

Imagine void wespons being versions of existing weapons but in different states they where ingame, for example a version of the kraber where it still deals 300+ damage or a prenerf r-99, that would be cool!!

Void weapons seem more like weapons from different realities like how titanfall has different magazine sizes and how watson says "like wraith" we know shes talking to different reality versions of herself

All the guns, even the nemesis are from titan fall 2 lol The nemesis is based off a titan weapon. It was funny to hear people call the CAR a new weapon.. might be new to apex but not a lot of pilots here.
The devs might be planning on adding dual wielding the the Wingman, this would also explain why the wingman's ammo capacity and hipfire spread were specifically nerfed.
doesnt make a lot of sense, gun is pretty darn good on its own. p2020's and mozam falls of hard from early game and isnt rly end game material. those guns are the ones that need dual wield. wingman has just been nerfed because its been a bit of a powerhouse, its been very strong. nerfing the ammo was one of the ways to keep the gun from becoming way to good, without it starting on literally 4 or less bullets. stops it from being ass or very good. it is a little weird tho, to basically have optics only as attatchments. perhaps it should be allowed to have laser sights, nerf the hipfire if needed to its not to good.

''Void weapon'' sounds so weird after hearing it so much haha. P2020 dual wield would be cool, but RE45 is already decent on its own. Then again if you can't ADS maybe the effective range is shorter so it might not be THAT broken. Interesting vid, thanks! Curious to see how this turns out.
For real though, it'd be sick if the voidweapon was jus a portal gun with ammo. Would be an interesting tradeoff to have a wepon that has utility an no damage.

Theory: The "Void weapon" could be an enhanced version of a weapon that does more damage, has better stats, has unique attachments, etc.
Imagine a void Havoc with disruptors on it? I'd function like some care package weapons like the EVA-8 and how it has hammerpoints.

They have said they don't want to remove it because the arrows take up ground loot spawns which is a bad excuse when you remember white backpacks are still a thing. All they need to do is make the white backpack base kit and loot spawns will be so much cleaner
@@walkermott1750if they remove white backpacks, which is a good idea, you don’t also put arrows back in the loot pool that’s stupid. Arrows are much more intrusive, and they’re only useful for a single mediocre marksman weapon.
Whataboutism arguments don’t work, Bow works perfectly as a CP weapon there’s literally no good reason to take it out unless they make it light ammo/ add more bow weapons.
@@walkermott1750 which makes sense. having things spawn that noone needs can be a problem. definitely makes sense that the bow is in the CP when its the only weapon that uses arrows. what they would need to do, is have multiple weapons switch ammo type over at the same time. for instance, could make the bow use void ammo, then u could tac on the wingman, add a 3rd void weapon and boom, now its not completely fucked at least
but its not that easy to just make these changes, and we for sure wouldnt get a whole new set of weapons at the same time seeing how long it takes to add some new weapons.
im also not sure what the problem would be with just making the bow use sniper or heavy ammo. sure, its somewhat unrealistic but so what? wingman is using sniper ammo, but its not a sniper. mozam is a pistol, shoots shotgun shells. spitfire was heavy, is now light. we can change ammo types and it shouldnt be that big of a deal. it doesnt need to make total sense imho, especially if its meant to be transitionary until more weapons come out and then u could move them all over to a new ammo type same time....
