- John Romita Jr., comic book artist, gave a panel at Terrificon 2022 to discuss his art, career, and to answer fan questions.
John Romita Jr. has been producing comic book art since the 1970s and is known for his work on The Amazing Spider-Man, Uncanny X-Men, Superman, Kick-Ass, Iron Man, The Avengers, Black Panther, and so many more. He received the Inkpot Award in 1994 and the Eisner Award in 2002. He has worked for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics, and Icon Comics.

Met JRJ, totally cool guy and a gym nut.
JRjr gets aloooooooooot of shit for his work but for me it’s interesting and different as I’m not a fan of “house art” I like different types of art and his style lends itself to cartoony. Not everything has to be cookie cutter.
