Terror based enemies are truly the only thing in this game that i think are terrible game design in an otherwise perfect game

Idk, the ninja miniboss in Hirata Estate v2.0 and the 2.0 version of Jouzou were pretty damn annoying. All the story bosses are well-designed and there are legit strategies to beating them, along with practice. The Headless and Shichimen are just a slog though, gotta do Terror fights like 8 times.

OMG this!!!! Terror bosses, as well as most 2.0 mini-bosses/non-main bosses are truly the worst. They’re like the only thing that prevents Sekiro from being an indisputable 10/10. (It still is a masterpiece, but those are very obvious flaws that Idk how they overlooked).
Damn these videos are great. The last thing I want when I'm frustrated from slamming my head into a boss wall is to watch a 9 minute video with a ton of preamble. These vids are perfect.

If he jumps in the air, jump with him to get a deathblow. You need aerial deathblow text to do it

Finally a Method that works! Thank you so much this boss was so annoying! This definitely works on v1.06.
For those having trouble I just ran off the cliff and got the Deathblow to appear just like WaxGamebreaker did in the video and worked like a charm.👌
@Asuka Majestic - I appreciate you confirming it works.👌 100% works but throwing the Loaded Shuriken and jumping down for the Deathblow can be tricky, That is why this is a cheesy method. Like you said just running off the cliff might be easier to get that Deathblow to appear. 👍

Was scared of the jumping part But it worked out very well. Just make sure not to use divine confetti before the jump unless you are pro at the jump like WaxGameBreaker. Use the Confetti after you have succeeded in the Jumping deathblow

@@SickSoundingStuff It will but give it some test tries 1st before using the confetti so it wont waste it things dont work out properly
@@DoniWicker I could not stick the landing from the waterfall. I tried many times. I found there is a cliff a little lower that works much better. Then I just kept the pressure on him. Every time he disappeared I gave chase immediately. Eventually I got him. The lightning puppies were dispatched beforehand as a precaution sense he tends to dance in their direction. But all the same, thanks!
For anyone still struggling with the death blow, as the video description says, just keep tapping the attack button as you are falling. It worked for me every time.
Nice video! Man That deathblow...Got it to work the first 2 times then not for about 20 but I got it eventually, he likes to hang out by them dogs AHhhhhhhh!

good content. Saw this and then got the Projected Force skill which did the trick. get the first deathblow every time by attacking during the fall just BEFORE the red glow... if you wait it is too late.

Only issue is with no kuro's charm his attacks do chip damage through the umbrella. Still good video, especially showing how to deathblow him.
I literally cannot get the deathblow dot to show up when I jump on him. Tried 4 times and only once did it show up and my game literally glitched and Sekiro kinda just floated down gently and the animation didn't trigger.
EDIT: Got it to work. Basically if I pressed the button by the time the red dot appeared on screen, it was too late. I had to spam RB BEFORE the red dot appeared lol
I still would love it, if someone could beat this incredibly hard boss for me.
@eldudereno204 • If I still had my Sekiro on PlayStation than I would have gladly beat this boss this for you no problem. This Mini-Boss is a pain, I feel you man. I know that feeling especially the first time I had to face him years ago when this game first released.
The jump can be tricky to pull off at times so just skip that and try using only the umbrella method I showed if possible for both his health bars.
Don't give up and you'll beat him. In not sure how far you are in the game but maybe try coming back to him when you have gotten much stronger to make things more easier.

You may know this but there are some mini-bosses that if you miss them or just don't fight them you can still buy their prayer beads at the small shrine in dilapidated temple late in the game (Next to the Zombie dude). If you are at Isshin then you most probably can now.
The thing is unfortunately you cant buy the Lapis Lazuli that this Schichmen drops. Good luck with Saint Isshin and this Schichmen. You got this💪💯

i tried to get the aerial deathblow so many times using confetti. the first time i decided to stop 'wasting' it i get the deathblow from above. just a coincidence though because it had to do with my positioning. when hitting him with the shuriken i noticed he would face the waterfall. so i went all the way to the opposite end of the waterfall where i would be facing more towards the back of him and i just walked off. i didnt see the red dot indicating so i just mentally timed the stab.
FUCKING thank you fuck this boss
one of the most annoying bosses in the entire game, no fun just stupid gimmick attacks

Try to keep pressing the Lock-on button near the edge of the cliff like shown and hopefully you will lock-on to him. Try moving the camera a little bit aswell. You will do it don't worry, Good Luck!👍
Try this Abdul Aldi , When you have locked-on to him just try running off the cliff Without Jumping and see if you can get the Deathblow to appear.

I cant figure out what im doing wrong. I hit the enemy with a shuriken (I basically have to stand at the very edge to make it hit), do exactly as you do, I tried running and jumping off the cliff on him but nothing triggers the deathblow.
And when I use the umbrella, it doesn't absorb anything, I get terror damage and instantly die.
Note : I do have everything needed pointed out in the video.
@I_Am_Spectre - Sometimes landing the deathblow from above can be tricky but I assure you it works. Try running off the cliff Like I do instead of jumping.
Are you sure you have the Phoenix's Lilac Umbrella? Any other Umbrella Wont work and check to see if you have the Projected Force Skill learned. Good Luck, Let me know if you manage to get it done👍
@I_Am_Spectre - Also The Deathblow wont appear if you have not used the Divine Confetti. So that is a Must before you make the drop on Shichimen Warrior
@@WaxGameBreaker All good Thanks man, I actually did get the death blow without the Confetti, then activated it, ran to hit him a few times and used your umbrella method to do the remaining damage. Thanks for the help man. Death blow works without confetti but you still have to agro him. And the jump is a bit difficult to do for anyone reading this so practice that first before using all your confetti.

@Isa • Head over to the Dilapidated Temple and to the small shrine where the undead zombie training guy is. You can buy the anti-air deathblow from the small shrine there
After a few attempts and unseen aid not aiding me once I FINALLY got the first life down with the air takedown!

Those damn wolves. A little tip is don't use the divine confetti before jumping if you feel the deathblow wont connect so it wont waste it. If you get the air deathblow then you can quickly use the divine confetti on the ground as the Boss vanishes to the other side
That worked for the first one but this guy doesn't seem to jump as often and I kept running out of confetti. Waterfall deathblow helped a ton then I just whacked him with my confetti sword and he went down quick.
This boss is worse than Isshin, I swear 💀
