Damn it my brother i know its been a minute sense keeping connected etc.. very stoked seeing this new video plus couldn't be more proud of the success you are having and well deserved ✌️
BB Yamahas were my dream bass when I was starting to play. I was pumped to buy one until I realized there are no (or impossible to find) left-handed versions of it.
Sounds like rounds to me. But with today's amps and the brighter flats that some companies make, it's hard to say for sure. But they are definitely not grandpa's dead sounding flats of fifty years ago.
I just barely got a BBP35 and am blown away. I'm up to ten Fenders now (a couple are Custom Shop) and the Fender's sound great. But to be honest, I am blown away by not just the sound of the BBP35, but the variety of tones I can get out of it and the way the tone knob works on the bass (which is for whatever reason, quite different from what a Fender tone knob sounds). So, for the quality and sound of the BBP34 and BBP35 basses, I really don't think they are all that overpriced. I will forever be a Fender fanboy, but this Yamaha definitely holds its own against all of them, including my Custom Shop Fenders. I don't really play 5-string that much (all my Fenders are 4-strings), But I would take this BBP35 over ANY 5-string that Fender makes right now, including the Ultras. I'm a passive bass guy, and the electronics in the BBP35 are perfect and totally simple, yet give good variety as well.
New finishes on these Yamahas look great, the white is such a classic work and Corey is an incredibly talented guy. Fun track and great tones!
Wow this performance was amazing
This drummer every bass player's dream.....
Nice. When do these new ones come out?
A beautiful bass and nice playing.

Nice bass
Love the white model? I've only seen blue & sunburst.
Same here…. I would have bought one already if they offered it in that vintage white. Sooo sweet!
👍🔥
Is he playing with flats or rounds?

Hm. Time to change my sunburst BBP to white one . . .
Overpriced for what it is, could get a 2nd hand MIJ P bass and Jazz Bass for the price of this.
Yup and you could get 12 samick basses from the 80s for the price of those two MIJ instruments. These are well priced.
@Dan Piper Fender MiJ's from the Fujigen factory (80s - 96) are some of the best basses I've ever played.
