    Please Nigeria is nice but I will advise you and your partner team up with other prominent UA-camrs before moving there. They can help you find a best place to live and expand your business. Having someone who knows the system helps a lot. If both you and your partner have limited knowledge about which state you want to live in, then please did that. May the Lord grant you His travelling mercy. All the best

    Have you tried Nigerian property center website? Id suggest you look at houses only in areas you want to live in- I don’t know what part of Nigeria you’re looking at but I’m guessing Lagos. Be careful of areas that are flooded, they won’t look that way now, only in a couple of months. Ask the neighbors.

    I am a military brat and ex military wife. At one time we moved every 6 month or year and I turned out very well and so did other military children that I still keep in touch with to this day our lives are great. We’re all educated, some of us own our own businesses, run companies, some even joined the military, etc. you can still have stability with moving as long as you have a strong foundation. My two children even turned out very well graduate, high school went to college have good jobs etc. it’s all about what the parent or parents instill into their children. Some parents are just lazy whether they move all the time or not. Their children are just not their first priority so they struggle in life. I am very glad to have had the experience of traveling to different places overseas and in the states. Visiting other countries was very educational to me.

      if any of you had the opportunity that she is given her children, you would all take it. it’s no different than out here dating, and don’t know who you are bring home to your children. A lot of children lives are taken by their parents and their parents choices of partners. The bottom line is, she’s a grown woman who is trying to provide a better life for her children just like any other mother. her children are very outspoken and lived in Canada before they moved to Ghana with her so if they felt like they were in danger or were tired of moving, I’m sure they would tell her they want to go back to Canada. Her children are very vocal when expressing themselves. And traveling overseas with the military it’s just as dangerous as a civilian traveling overseas if not even more dangerous because we become targets because of bing apart of the military.

    • @NjeriK95
      @NjeriK95 3 місяці тому

      @@Nativeheart-ht1tv Assumptions and a very bad comparison. You should absolutely be very cautious about bringing anyone home to your children who is a romantic partner to avoid that horrible situation. Plenty of people avoid bringing anyone around their children until they know it's a very serious relationship that was not a good comparison at all. Rochelle doesn't seem like she would bring just anyone around her children. Also nothing you said negates what I said that traveling as a civilian and as a military family are different. You actually emphasized it with your point. My cousin who is basically like my sister is a military wife and mother. Her and I traveling the world with children just wouldn't be the same.

    I know what it is like when your country has a bad reputation. For example Jamaica is a 1000 times better than it's reputation. I love living here. However, house hunting here is very very difficult cause most people here don't move much so you have to depend on word of mouth to find a place to rent or buy if you are not looking in Kingston, Montego Bay or Ocho Rios. It doesn’t matter whether you trust someone or not, it’s money matters 101. When you hand over money, you get a receipt. Simple as that! Even when you get a receipt, you can still be scammed, so do your due diligence and make sure you have some vital information on the receipt like name, address, email, telephone etc. When you have children in tow, you have to be extra vigilant about who you give money to. You don’t want to end up sleeping in your car.

    Congratulations on you trying to open business in Nigeria. I have no doubt that you are going to succeed doing business in Nigeria especially with your good sense of judgement. Unlike your partner who seems to be a bit out of touch with the country that he's partly from. Scamming business is no longer a big deal in Nigeria any more and the people that were involve in it back then prefered to do it outside the country than scamming the investors that are already in the country. And like you rightly side, scamming is not just a Nigerian thing, it's everywhere.
    I pray that your business blossom in Nigeria that you will return back here sooner to testify of it. You and your partner will like it in Nigeria, there so much decent cities other than Lagos to cover if you are ready!

    Kids are innocent and they probably don’t know how instability will affect them until it’s disastrous.
    Remember they probably miss their father as he is in a different country and they are not able to see him at will.
    Also I always hear military children complain of feeling lost as their parents become very mobile, usually when they become adults.
    All children need stability in their lives but unfortunately sometimes it doesn’t happen.
