      Well, I know that things are easier for me than they are the Lehman type people out there, but if I don’t try to inspire you and give you confidence I don’t think many people would try things .
      It is quite detailed in someways, but once you actually do two or three of them at all starts to make sense and they all seem to be the same
      And I don’t know if I said it in the video but I figure if I’m gonna take it somewhere and pay them $800 to do an hours worth of work how much do I need to make an hour to do it myself ?
      Even if I messed it up because I never done it before I should be good enough to watch the video and put it back together to the best of my abilities and then pay somebody however what generally ends up happening is people figure out the mistake they made by going back and looking at the video
      So it does seem detailed, but really it’s not that complicated especially after you start taking apart and figuring how everything works. It will lead you to a great deal of your work and you can pay yourself. Just tell your wife or your husband. I just made 800 bucks let’s go blah blah blah.
      So thank you very much for the compliment. I greatly appreciate it. My true. Calling is to try to inspire and empower people to do things themselves. It’s not that complicated. I’m not that smart. I’m quite dumb at times but that’s a totally different conversation for a totally different times.
      Welcome to the channel very happy to have you God bless. Have a great day.

    Just know this. If your coils are blown up and it’s running bad, you may replace them and it still runs bad. Mine did that. I sent the computer off to get it rebuilt and reprogrammed, bought OEM plugs and coils, now it runs like a brand new car! Well worth doing yourself. I paid a total of $700 including shipping for everything versus the $3k-$4k they wanted at a dealership! Thanks bro!

    Thanks for posting this video!
    I came here to see the trick to removing the connectors. I was going to use a flat key that I use to unlock our cheap indoor doorknobs. I did, however, see that you were discussing spark plug tips, so I fast forwarded to the part where you were discussing gap sizes. A daily driven non-performance vehicle has an acceptable gap range. The larger gap sizes are used for economical purposes, think "green energy folks". Smaller gap sizes are more efficient, but MAY affect fuel consumption a little. Also, Bosch platinum plugs at my local autozone are $4.99 a piece. The iridium plugs are useless on these specific ecoboost engines because these engines require 30k mile or so spark plug replacements. I bought mine two years ago with 66,930 miles and now at 78,000 miles I checked the spark plugs, due to hesitation issues, and they have already been replaced and are a little fouled, which is apparently typical with these engines, that is it is inherent due to its design. Thanks for posting such videos!

      😂😂😂 that is really hilarious that you use the exact same spark plugs to describe the job you’re doing and I use them exact same spark plugs to describe the job I’m not doing.

Also do you remember if that hidden bolt under throttle body that’s hard to get to is shorter than the coil bolt?They looked very similar but need a new one and can’t find it listed in parts diagrams to get a number for it.Found number for the coil bolt.

    Use the dielectric grease on the tip of the rubber boot. You don’t need a lot very little and do yourself a favor. Make sure that vehicle is cold when you pull the spark plugs because you will rip the threads out of the head and when you put your spark plugs back and get gold any seas not the silver Put a little bit on the threads before you put it back in the engine and do your self a big favor torque your spark plugs crush that washer, because if not, you’ll get misfires on start up do you won’t know what you did wrong and you’ll be paying double you’ll be taking it to a technician to figure out what is going on all because you and torque to spark plugs get that crush washer, crushed

  • @CharlesLease-ei1ee
    @CharlesLease-ei1ee Рік тому

    It’s a reusable gasket long as it’s not crushed you can use it and torque your intake down

    Hi you seem like you know a lot about cars my Ford edge 2011 headlights went out I changed the fuse and the bulb and made sure the switch was working fine. Do you think it’s wiring issue and if yes is it expensive?

    • @sharpcarco
      @sharpcarco  Рік тому

      I wish I knew as much as you thought I knew about it. Unfortunately, the other thing that it could possibly be is the light sensor or even the gym module itself, which is the module that controls the lights regretfully I don’t have a lot of experience with that particular problem so I’m very sorry to say that wouldn’t be able to help in that situation

    Hears were a lot of people get shafted they think their year getting OEM from advance AutoZone you’re not that is not an OEM plug that is advance brand OEM plug. If you look at the coloring they are different. It’s an aftermarket stamped advance plug. It’s not directly from OEM look at it real close and you will see it.

    The continual sexual innuendo will cause you to lose subscribers, casual viewers and advertisers. Is your type of sexual humor worth the loss of revenues from advertisers and subscribers? The technical information is important but is off-set by your off-color comments.

    • @sharpcarco
      @sharpcarco  Рік тому +1

      To me, it is. I want people that are here to understand that I’m here to help them if they don’t want to help and they don’t like my sense of humor, there’s millions of other, UA-cam channels to watch.. most of the time my continent is different than others. I’m OK if people don’t like me you’re not gonna please everyone all the time and when people wake up and realize that not everybody’s going to be happy with what you do you can just be you.
      If I was worried about it, I would do it . I wouldn’t have as many followers if it wasn’t for the things that I do if I just did generic videos that were straight to the point, I wouldn’t have followers I would have clickers…. Nobody would know me or my character they were just know that I make good videos.. I want to make good videos, but I want to make videos my way which is the reason that the channel is called the clay way. It will either catch on or it won’t either way I’m happy with who I am what I do, and it may not be for you.

    If you want to teach somebody to save money, teach them right a person that’s never done it do not tell them disconnect the negative battery because there’s a big chance that they will slip and use some other type of tool and smack metal and shorts up mouth always disconnect the negative cable first and yes, on some of the vehicles the battery is buried, but on the left-hand side of the vehicle near the strap tower is a ground strap to the body disconnect it if you can’t get to the battery but if you wanna some show somebody do it correctly
