Plenty of young talent for example the Blues have 13 first round draft picks under 25. Tons of good young players. If you want a better product shorten the season. Finals in June is bad for the viewership. Also the long season and playoffs are causing way too many injuries.
I agree, they should improve the on-ice product before adding more teams. I'd rather see the salary caps increased and get better depth on all teams rather than making the owners more money by washing the league down with more teams. They just expanded with Vegas and Seatle. Give it some time!

Demko in his best season was #15 in the league according to the stats. You can call him a top 3 goalie after he WINS a vezina or a cup... he has barely even played 5 playoff games

For how many more seasons that will last isn't clear but what is is how injury-prone Demko has been. Broberg is top 4 on St Louis and 4.6 is not an overpay for top 4 pairing. Robertson on the Leafs should have been offer sheeted too! O dog is wrong here and Hayes is always wrong about expansion he went on and on how "Vegas would never work for hockey!" Vegas is now the model franchise that others copy! He's so biased where he becomes ignorant.
