awesome work, just did a Katalina single player run with AI earlier and I didn't know about the super armor on some part of skills while you have Ares up, keep up the good work!
Thank you very much!! I will jump back into Katalina later to see if i'm missing some hidden mechanic about her since she's really fun to play and she's one of the most interesting and fun characters to play as of right now!
Damn, you make Katalina pretty damn cool. Nothing like my shoddy gameplay hahaha. Can't wait for launch so we can unlock more skills and passives. Oh yeah, also the training room to practice. 😅
Thanks ahahha! A training room would be awesome, but i'm not sure if we're gonna have one... i'm incredibly hyped for the full game release as well! We can already see from some of the trailers and gameplays from devs how some characters will expand and hopefully there's much more that we haven't seen yet!
I think I saw a training room on the airship in some dev gameplays (like the one in the tutorial). Would be weird if they removed it for launch. I don't know how robust it will be tho.
Oh you're actually right about that one! Maybe it will have a damage displayed in it (like the original game) so we can test what combo or skills to use!
Amazing gameplay. I was literally just looking for a Katalina solo gameplay video so it was perfect timing! How are the PS5 Dualsense controller haptics during combat? Are they quite good, or just normal vibration/rumble?
Thank you very much! Katalina with the kit we have been given in the beta suffers a bit in a solo setting, but she's still really fun to play! Sadly, i can't answer you about the ps5 controller since i'm playing on my old PS4 (switched to PC during that console era). The game looks pretty good even on the base PS4, but it's locked at 30 fps.
has anyone experimented with her dodges with a perfectly timed triangle at all? Im not good enough with her yet but i noticed she has a crazy small window for her dodge to input a triangle attack and you get a different animation. curious if its literally just a different animation or maybe something more to it. or nothing we can do with it yet until the full game
As of right now, i'm doing a solo run with all the other characters so i've put Katalina on the side but i will dive into this for sure. I had some moments where i was expecting Ares to go off but, it didn't, so you might be into something. Great gameplay! I didn’t know you could extend the duration of her ice stand so long! Could you make a video on how to get the most out of it?
