It’s cool seeing how people in different professions spend their money
He saves $2K /month, she saves $0.2k/month. That’s a huge disparity there. Makes sense that he has $54k in savings.
it's probably super easy to save majority of your paycheck when you still live with your parents
@@twice_velvet he still pays rent just as he would if he lived with regular roommates
LetsJazzItUp however, he’s rent is significant cheaper if hers but he’s definitely on the right track.
twicevelvet it’s better to swallow your pride and succeed than live a lavish life you can’t afford
She also just doesn’t save enough. She spends way too much money on micro-needling and Ulta and facials even though that’s far out of her budget. She should realistically put at least $400 a month into a savings account, especially when she apparently have $1.7k a month to spend. There’s no reason why she can’t save more money.
Cabin crew saves a lot on rent though. I have friends who flies everyday so they would just rent the cheapest place possible just in case they don’t fly some days.
When he said, “it actually produces collagen,” that is when I knew I want to be him.😍😄
Ouch $800 in a 401k with a $500 a month car payment what are you doing?
Driving a BMW to look cool
@@timz6079most likely not, if she leased the car on her own when younger and didn't refinance or had good credit and put $0 down, then it's a higher note
Allayjah M. Meeeeeee 😩😩 I should've waited lmao
kai he could easily be independent the way he budgets. Theres no shame in living in with your parents and saving a buttload of money rather than renting a flat and paying for a bmw to keep up an image. Sis spends 1.7k a month but only has 10k in savings. Thats bad money management
whatever she wants to do .
could you guys do a bsn vs adn nurse in the Bay Area/California with or without a family.
She spends so much money 😱😱😱
Can yall do an accountant? 🙂
He must stay with his parents cuz 500 a month I mean I’m just curious about his living situation .
Like a studio apartment
Please do how Navy SEALs spends there salary
Guns. Done.
This is by far my favorite video that you guys have done. I would love to see more comparisons!
$500 for rent in NY? he lives at home and that's fine. so you cannot compare
Imagine having $620 to waste on your face 😂😂😂
Musical Author *spend
@Aurora DeSimone that's women for you. Men save and women spend.
Michael Francis Tapia you mean, men don't have oppressive beauty standards to maintain and women have these beauty standards to maintain as well as their products being more costly than men
@@lindai6988 because womens products usually have better quality or more expensive ingredients . Also there are cheaper options for women. but I guess 800$ in a 401k is some how a sexism problem lmao.
Asher woodman what research supports your claim on ingredients in men and women products?
Why would you pay 500 a month for a car and you’re a flight attendant🤦🏽♂️
Well they dont fly her to the grocerie store
@@Klaasvaneenshonie It doesn't take a $500/mo car payment to get to the store.
@@smileychess Yeah I know it was just an example. And she probably has a more expensive car than she really needs.

She lives in L.A.
She needs a car.
@@OriginalGrasshopper No one *needs* a car who's loan is $500 per month.
These kids are smarter than i ever was at their age!!!
i earn only $15,000 a year, but since i live in 3rd world country, that's more than enough to afford decent houses one in the city and one in the countryside which is way bigger, two car, going to bali twice a month for vacation, monthly vacation to singapore, thailand, vietnam, etc, and eating out everyday 😁
Funny how opinions shift with the context. If this guy had been compared to another dude, everyone wouldn’t be talking about what a great saver he is, but rather how bad it is that he lives with his Momma. 😂
Ayyyyyeeeeee all those purchases are in my area, I wonder if he lives in my neighborhood😂😂
If you're constantly away flying all over the world its pointless renting an expensive apartment.
One of my friends works on cruise ships and goes away for 4 months at a time so he just never moved out of his parents x it was pointless
My man better be saving in a high-interest account like Ally or Marcus!
Truuuuuuuuu
Props to the guy for being so responsible with his spendings and savings. Really interesting videos to watch. Just one fundamental flaw with most of those: The people in the videos don’t have cars and girlfriends = 💰💨
please do one on Administrative assistants and receptionists.
Id totally participate in that. Admin Assistant living in Hawaii, its rough lmao.
i wouldn't do it, my neighbor's been a flight attendant for decades. i'd say she's in her late 50's/early 60's now, and it definitely isn't healthy for you. just like working a graveyard shift, it's a rough place to be in for the majority of your career
That dude is me in a nutshell. Doesn't spend more than 10 dolla for products unless it's a serious service.
I don't get the math, if their salary is 48K, do they only get taxed less than 3000 dollars? Their income after tax comes out to be 45.6K. Keep in mind, they do get 300$ in living assistance, but that would still be 42k, which is also incorrect for an income after tax for a salary of 48K.
Who's remt is 500!? and WHERE!?
At 5:53, it sounds like he's living with his parents and paying them rent, so they're probably giving him a good deal.
he probably rents a room. since hes barely there
@@ShaBeKnowin Although he lives with his parents. It's common to flight attendants and pilots to rent crash pads. Which are condos guys rent out with like 4 beds per room and such and are cheap in comparison to an expensive city apartment.
My rent is! North Carolina 🤩
Joua Angela Yang ours too and I live in Greensboro 😂
Yeah, Taxi in Norway is really expensive. I was at a festival and at the end, we didn't want to walk back down because everyone were tired and there were too many people, so we ordered a taxi to drive us down that 5 minute hill and we ended up paying around $60...
i want to become a flight attendant so bad and this just helps my case more
Just Carlos, DO IT! It’s a great lifestyle, and I bet you’ll love it!
You should totally do it you’ll love it if you love people there are great perks! Just be prepared for training lol
Tips on guys becoming a flight attendant ? Is there a stigma of a guy goes to be a flight attendant
I love this series. Keep making these.
Great! Now do a regional flight attendant
sunny marie each bank statement will start out negative and continue to incur overdraft charges. Oh that $4.15? I was feeling good so I splurged on a Wendy’s 4 for 4 in South Bend Indiana 😂

A regional FA would be way more interesting then this video lol
I appreciate this information. Watch a lot of FA videos and am considering preparing for this as a new career. 2 issues I've picked up is health and finances. This video helps to paint a picture of what to prepare for (building a good savings before embarking on the career and discovering healthier new ways to handle food and exercise). Really interesting and helpful. Thanks for sharing.♥
Sis the whole of Africa 🤦🏾♀️ Where in Africa? Really wish people would be specific.
I just started micro needles too. Hopefully I start to see a diff soon.
I'm so intrigued by him, I don't know why
Omg her story is so much more relatable 😂
Dude this man is amazing that he is so young but already wise to how to accumulate wealth. The woman is like most people who live at or above their means. He is definitely retiring early and living his best life. If you want to know how it's done, check his attitude because that's it.
Lol 500 rent. Tell that you a Californian. 2300 fml
derrick ding flight attendants usually rent rooms
He lives in NYC w his parents.
Who rents rooms. It’s all about having your place on your own
2,300?! I live in West LA in a small studio and paid 1,100. 2,300 is obviously you living in a really big place and you could probably find a more affordable place on Westside rentals.
Me shocked the dude is significantly more financially responsible
I'm confused. They both said they make 48k. But the woman said she makes 3.8k a month after taxes. That would be impossible...unless she's earning way more before taxes. The guy's is closer to a reasonable tax amount at around 17.5% but that's still crazy.
