You're right. I hate that about co-ops. They are super selective and when you're ready to sell, you have to pay a small percentage to the board.

I think it's taboo because people don't talk about money because they are bad with it and don't want to be judged. Also, people don't realize where their money should be going and what they should be striving for. I more often wonder what someone does for a living to earn such a salary so i could possible strive for that in my future. not everyone thinks like, but it's a good place to start.

Thats me! I just graduated last December, I make 73k before taxes; plus yearly bonuses, profit sharing, and 100% 401k match. I have 47k in student debt(my job pays the interest each month as benefit), 20k car debt. and 8k in credit card debt. My bf who lives in a different state pays my utilities. I live on my own and do pay rent, insurance etc.
Hope that helps. All in all I save about 27$ a month after all my expenses are paid😭

Not to mention that I do not live paycheck to paycheck, and go on about 2-3 vacations a year, fully paid for by myself.

She brings little with physical healthly attraction. Wealth is a value to bring to the table. I would say not a great one to bring to the table, but it happens frequently.
The guys must bring physical attraction? Not necessarily. Women value emotional strength over physical attractiveness when men value physical attraction over intelligence/emotional strength.

”I want financial security” but lets get a mortage with your partner which implies you are not married. If the person runs away you are stuck and it is going to be a mess.

She pays for literally everything except the $1000/month her partner gives her. She wouldn't suffer at all.

Yes!! Everyone is writing goals! I'm here like, no no no no. Good on her for the down payment, but she never said what percentage it was and she saves SO little for herself. She spends too much. 2.4k a month??

@@russwes7778 def feel the same Russ she spends a lot I couldn't help but think if she ever lost that job with the amount she saves her savings would not be able to sustain her lifestyle

Gretchen Ward hmm I'm working on that but help me understand. She sounds like she lives in NY to me and I don't see how 2500 is too much to spend in relationship to her salary. It probably is a lower percentage than most people with similar salaries
