Your coffee break time is one of my favorite parts of your video. As a matter of fact, I stop the video, brew myself a cup of coffee and say Cheers to you too. How could anyone hate your coffee break time is beyond me. What a miserable person they must be.
I love watching him fix and drinking coffee. I can't drink black coffee, but he makes it look so good and tasty. I just love watching everything he does and his voice can even put me to sleep because he has just a calming voice.
I'm a 70 yrs old woman.( Soon to be 71 next week, the 27th). Just loved your comment! I couldn't have said it better myself!!😂😂😂. Love watching Luke & this channel. I find his reccomends on camping to be both informative & fascinating. Don't ever stop!!
Thank you for not getting into politics on your channel. Love watching you for your camping, gear reviews, and your outlook on outdoor life. Hugs to you, Susie too!!
I’m a bit older than you, and I can assure you that back in my day we never had to worry about strong winds, heavy rains, or falling branches. No siree - we just relaxed in our cave and bragged about the bear we’d evicted.
Thank you for NOT taking about politics on ur channel - Thank you for your Hiking Camping Channel - ur channel is the one I watch 85% of the time when I'm wanting to watch this kind of channel - THANK YOU Sir Luke
Another thank you for NO POLITICS! We have several camping/hiking channels we watch- for one reason, and you said it: PEACE from all the madness! BTW: I have noticed Susie’s touch on the cabin: the curtains under the sink table, and over the windows. I know she hand made them all, and they look great! A woman’s touch for sure-and of course the llamas! Wow Susie, you rock!
I am a 74 yr old guy and “camp” off my motorcycle a lot. Nothing like riding 150 miles one way, the off into the forest on the bike and find a spot. No such thing as bad weather, just bad outdoor gear.
@ on my bucket list to go camping at this age, I wouldn’t mind the tent, but the bike is like getting onto a escalator with glass sides. But please enjoy your adventures.
I love the way you take the simplest of foods and make them look and sound so delicious. I really appreciate the ingenuity you bring to hiking/camping food prep. Glad home is getting back to normal. Good vibes sent to you and to Susie.
I like the sound of the rain on the camper also. That is why I watch your videos, you have the best audio for rain episodes. I know a lot of people think that you add your rain and thunder audio, but I know about the audio box that you made. I want to make one too. Super cool project. Multiple tracks is the way to go, it adds a lot to your videos. It makes things very consistent when you transition camera angles. I also enjoy your photography and audio selections. I can tell how much you enjoy making your content.
Dearest Luke...lovely to hear that you and Suzie had time out...just what you needed...to clear the cobwebs.....thank You for the words of wisdom at 35 mins...thank You..for calling all here 'friends'...........enjoyed..as always...Peace on Earth.Sand.NZ.Onward.
Luke I love your attitude and outlook on things. When something goes wrong, you just roll with the punches. So many people let things like that make them negative, which puts a person on a downward spiral most of the time.
The off-grid cabin setting made it even more adventurous and raw!❤ Your footage truly captured the wild energy of nature and the thrill of braving the elements. Thanks for taking us along on this unforgettable stormy journey!♥
I decided to play a little game while watching Luke's latest video. I had to drink a shot every time Luke said "It is what it is". I'm pretty mellow now 😅
Suggestion: install eyebolts on your trailer. Use those to tie off one side of the tarp. Park the 4 Runner parallel to the front of the trailer and use that to tie off the other side of the tarp. Maybe install a brush guard front bumper for one tie off. Or maybe some kind of plastic clip that fits in the crack between your hood and fender. You already have the roof rack for another.
This past camping trip, I made chicken and rice using my cast iron dutch oven. It was so dang delicious and we shared with our neighbors because we made too much. Going camping makes me revitalized every time I go. Comfort food, a couple of books, and catch and release fishing. I do bring my phone and tablet because I sneak a movie or football game in at night.
#1. Coffee is good anytime for any occasion. #2. Love your stand on political endorsements and keeping such discussions off the channel. #3. Keep On Keeping On!
Thank you for not getting into politics. I like learning survival skills. I listen to you and others sometimes throughout the night. I’m a senior who spends a lot of time alone and you are great company. God bless you and your family.
And this is why I love this channel I love the escape from all the crap and enjoy your wisdom. I'm alway happy when it comes to politics as I could care less who's in charge as it affects me so little in the grand scheme of things. My guy always wins :) Thanks for sharing your time with us and looking forward to the next video.
@@michaelvosbein7524 yes but tony's in new zealand But it's kind of a bit different. It's not like it is here at home. It's more personal here. All in all, I watch my camping videos to get away from all that stuff.
@rahulshukla3762 Some people just can't bear the thought of someone being different. That's the cool thing about life though, none of us HAVE to watch or listen to anyone 🤷 I see a little irony in announcing your stance on politics by singling out a particular (and awesome) person that you won't watch because of it. Could have simply praised Luke without calling out Tony. But that's just my opinion. I can't imagine boycotting an entire wonderful channel for an occasional monolog of opinion 🙄Seems a little thin skinned.
I'm just going to echo everyone else in saying thanks for no politics on your channel. I love your videos especially storm videos. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing more outdoor adventures in the rain and snow!
Luke and Susie, I enjoy your videos. Your life journey, the part you share with us. Thank you, because from my part, I can't wait for your next videos. God bless you and your family.
Luke another great campout at the cabin 👏👏👏 We enjoy your videos so much. I agree I like this time of year when we get rain also. We're in Oregon and are in the rainy season here. We are glad to hear that you and Susie enjoyed your vacation. A break is always good. I miss seeing Susie on your videos. Hopefully we will see her again soon. We send you both lot's of love from Oregon ❤
I noticed both you and Suzie put your heaters on the table instead of on the floor. Considering heat rises, if you put your heat source on the floor, it will cut down on the chilly floor that will constantly remain cold. The top of your cabin is probably roasting while stuff on the floor is froze.
Nice adventure at the cabin even though a rainy one it was relaxing happy, to hear you and Susie are making progress at the house after the floods way to go, Love your little get away place . Time is defiantly flying by we have to all get out and do what we love while we can. Thanks Luke.
The sound of rain 🌧️ is calming relaxing good for meditation with good hot cup coffee good hot meal makes ya wanna take a cat 😺 nap and it's pieceful state of mind.
Oh boy, that dinner looked great. Can you share where you got the Mongolian Beef? Perhaps you made it yourself. I love your channel. It's informative and relaxing to watch. I'm so glad that you and Susie have managed to fix the damage to your home. You both are truly inspirational.

Luke, do you guys ever go to Lone Wolf mountain and spend say a week there as a vacation or something? Using the trailer like a cottage or cabin. It would actually be cool to see some multi day trips like backpacking, basecampimg or even a canoe trip would be cool. I think you can learn a lot more about gear using it for a longer period than just one overnight. Also, how come Suzzie is never on the channel anymore. For a while there, she was in a lot of videos, and even did some of her own, and then she just kind of disappeared.
I know what you mean about the walls in the cabin the material doesn't like dampness we had a RV and it got a small leak we didn't notice it we closed it up for the winters but the leak surned the insulation in the wall like sawdust when it got wet any way the walls had to be redone but I just wanted to suggest to get damp rid it works wonders you can get the bags to hang up they collect any moister at when they fill up throw away trust me they are worth it also would be good for your basement after the flood thank you for your videos I always look forward to them.

Regarding tent stakes. I hope I can explain this clearly. I once hung a tarp in the wind. I used two tent stakes on each guy line anchor point but i pushed them into the ground at opposite 45 deg.
