Great spot for watching long trains. I knew nothing about it.... It's nice to see new places.
It was a cool spot there, between the two mountain ranges
Brilliant video
I thrill because there is no Music, but the realy sound of Diesel Engines. The very hard working diesel Engines. Thank you, for Uploading this Video. I enjoy it.

Your drone has mad skillls 😂 I didn’t know that Banning summit was 2,600’ in elevation. I thought it was 1,500’.
Haha, exactly! Thanks Cory 😁😎
very nice
Thanks Jack! I like your Avatar 😎
Top demais 😊
Nice meet @ 805!
It was! I was suprised, turned out great!
I saw you this time Rob. hahahaha. Was that engineer cleaning the window while it was stopped or waving at the drone? That was some muscle up front on that second west bound T4 an Ace and a M. Thanks for the wonderful catch and details in your on screen comments. Lot of N&S locos out west right now seen three rolling with BNSF runs up in Cajon recently now one running with UP. Black Ponies always good to see,
Yea 7 Locos on that westbound Z! And I liked that NS going East, would've been cool leading. Thanks Cory 😎😁👋
@@CalebA-sv2kw Ooh and yea, i think the engineer was cleaning the mirror there 😄. Kinda weird, almost finished with the trip
It's all fun and games until you get stuck waiting at the track crossing at Pennsylvania Avenue.
Beutiful shots but I got a question tho what's more heavier a hopper car or intermodal car?
I would say a hopper is heavier, at around 142 tons max weight. Intermodal is usually lighter
Gotchu thanks
OMGosh I bet there were quite a few motorists stopped at the crossing saying many nasty things when that 2nd EB showed. 😂 When the RR's run these super-trains, they've got to run them fast. If crossings are closed for to long there will be a greater probability of Emergency Vehicles being delayed. Then the public will be upset & their politicians will demand shorter trains(& again, running fast) if routes can't be built w/ over or under passes for either the RR or the public. Liked the aerial views. Guess if there's enough mid-train helpers & the train isn't particularly heavy(unlike pulling coal or grain) then the train doesn't need pushers?
Haha, I was thinking the same thing with the second train comming ahaha! And yes, I think when all the power is on the head end, it's not too heavy. Thank you!
Really good video and great timing on those meets. If you see me out there next weekend, say hi and I'll do the same.
@@WalkinTheVegasStreetz Thank you very much😎
Still don't know how can you record the train operator's communication voice ???
Over the radio communicating with the dispatcher with a passing train. There are automatic defect detectors.
@@frederickschulkind8431 I saw some box box/cottage cabin on the side of the track,, there are many of them each 10---20 miles ???
but I could not hear their voice,,, how come ???
I get Radio communication from using a scanner. Link is in the description
@@RRTrainVideos thx
@@RRTrainVideos I bought the radio scanner,, DO I need the 40 inch long sticking out/but able to coil Atenna ?? without it,, can u still pick up good signal ???
Symbol??
Just too big
While it was great to watch the video. Mainly because the driver took the time to explain what was happening, it is so embarrassing to see that in this day and age, we are still relying on 60 yr old locomotives to haul feight in this state. No wonder rail is losing a growing percentage of freight each yaer to roadan d how are we suposse to run fast efficient commuters and regional train services who have to share the track with old unreliable, slow ( 20km and hr)(what a joke) freight trains. We should be using modern electric locos under the wires between Broadmeadow and Sydney freight yards.
