- It’s overwhelming to see what happens when your life becomes a set of wheels and a bunch of gear in bags. It becomes simple, mobile bound like a modern day Kerouac kind of thing. Day after day meeting new people, crossing their lives and getting a peek of how they live. The Alaskan life, never ending forests, the occasional moose and the joy of riding into small towns or encountering the odd roadhouse for a bit of civilization.

Michiel broke his back in 2013 and got paralyzed in his legs. He started walking again in 2018 after a period of intense rehab. Chiara just finished her studies in Italy as a nurse and together they are now looking to cross new borders.
We have documented 8556 km or 5322 miles of world record breaking cycling from Alaska to La Paz, Mexico on VID Expedition: Travel Series.

Raising awareness for the strength that lies within people with a disability. And in each of us.
