Does this still work? I've tried for hours to get the instamine thing to work, but it simply refuses to. I have high enough breaking power, hotm 3, ruby drill, legendary armadillo lvl 3, and it can't even instamine hardstone.
It makes you by far the most amount of money, its ungodly. Barrier of entry is basicly non-existent for mining standards and its also quite fun too. The "up to 60m" mark is a bit much tho, as skill isnt the only requirement for that, but incredible luck aswell. The average is about 40m coins/h, getting to that is quite easy and relatively cheap, getting above that requires either incredible timing or incredible luck. Its by far the most disgusting mining environment aswell, as there are insane amounts of griefer, bomber and nons threatening your profits. I tried making it work for the better part of 2 months and it was a horrendous experience. My overall recommendation, is that you farm up the 4m/4m to farm ruby and get away from this toxic space asap. Its fun, its different, its great profit, requires no gear or powder but its pure stress. The average heartbeat of a normal miner is 70 while the resting heartbeat of a dillo miner is 120 due to 400 people getting into the structure, trying to mine for profit.

ok no you are wrong about ruby being more sweaty than armadillo mining at high levels. ruby mining just requires you to etherwarp fast and not break some panes. actual good armadillo mining, not that top down stuff, is super complex and even implodent is outclassed by alot of other miners. also armadillo soft-cap is like 55m/h while ruby soft-cap is 40m/h about 30% less. and the griefing rate isn't that bad, plus you can buy structures. im not gonna even get into the fact that dillo is very similar with high ping while ruby sucks with it. but trying to come off as rude here but armadillo mining is the better method overall

The way I see it is that, for example, the 20 mins It might take to find a structure could be the time needed to fully setup a ruby route, were as it might take you 20 mins to find a structure, then another 10 to set it up for Armadillo. Also with ruby it isnt just etherwarp and not break panes. Ruby was serverly affected by the skymall patch but buffed nicely by the bal fix. Ruby is about aiming (look up a guy called vexos), and also knowing at what point NOT to break panes, and getting 1 tick etherwarps. I do agree about ping, but structures will sell in mere seconds, and if you ask about the greifing, ask any dillo miner (mabye even yourself) and think about how many times someone just starts mining, or bombing. And dont worry you didnt come off as rude, if anything it's kinda nice to see other people's opinions!

Knowing when not to break panes can be done by simply bombing certain panes (rubyminer did this in his tests) and is also predetermined routing (ruby routes are way more customizable than throne/spiral, e.g. fireandice has like 3 variations or something, and each of those variations are mined differently themselves). Ruby "aim" is a combination of padding and movement, aim can be mostly minimized to a lesser degree from padding and movement alone. However, as dillo instamines blocks and also has limited movement, it's harder to get the exact same routing every time.

But for ruby I never bomb veins as you never know if you might catch the route and need the panes to keep your rates up.

The thing that demotivates me the most to dillo mine is finding structures and setting up the lobbies. It just takes way too long to find the structures (especially since i dont have mvp+ and the warp to crystal nucleus) and im skeptical of buying the structures because i may get griefed or it may not be worth it
You don’t need the warp to cn, just go back and forth until you’re in precursor and just look around, and it doesn’t even take a longe time just have patience

for your second question the answer is yes. The epic armadillo gives the most boost because of t he rolling miner perk. Legendary and epic do the same thing but even with rolling miner its like a 1% boost
would it be possible to make a video going over the specifics and strategies you use when making your platforms? I've searched online but I cant find any tutorials on that aspect but I always see the best dillo miners with elaborate platforms.

One thing I never see people talk abt here is that maxed tree is actually also maxed seasoned mineman as that results in more mining xp which means more pet xp and faster pet leveling so if you use exp share on a gdrag that ups ur profits

@@Dragoonmaster4 yeah my ping is rough sometimes. I get anywhere from 15m to 22m/hr on ruby route. It's just that I've only spent a full hour or more once in the past month. If I get enough time to grind, I'll definitely watch this video again and start practicing the dillo method.
@@Dragoonmaster4 pretty "stable" at 84 but there are times where I can't even break hardstone. I honestly think it's a Java issue rather than a network issue since I've done extensive network tests, but it's just easier to say "yeah, my ping sucks". The end result is pretty similar.
I know I’m commenting a year late but if anyone sees this, does it really need all that setup like making the cobblestone platforms and finding that structure, or can you just mine the gemstones that you mine the gemstones that you see normally on that area and still make profit. armadillo got nerfed like 8 months ago to lose energy on block breaking rather then movement so you wont be able to mine with armadillo the entire time sadly

when you say you got like 4.5m or 6.5m gemstones an hour, i get why you multiply that by 3 to see how much profit you make, but why do you also multiply it by 2
that was constant practice over a week and only includes time directly mining, doesn't count for setting up routes, finding structures and learning efficient methods

rn my stats are 16 pristine and 2k fortune, and a level 1 common armadillo works as well as a level 100 legendary

Hi so i was wondering if you had the same problem as i did. i Would use the armidillo to mine however at some gemstones it would refuse to. i would be standin inside hte block and it still would break. However it would till work for other gemstones. Do you or anyone have a solution for this? Cheers!

you need to look down, or you might be mining protected veins

i highly doubt that you would need to be better than the best miner, i can only push 40m/h using some of the best strategies not even covered here

@@wexxyfx8729 harder to setup, and it sometimes depends on if all the veins are breakable
@@ThatPurpleWurmple spiral is easier to setup and has more veins throne had no upsides to it
doesn't really matter what structure you use, all of my advice can be applied to throne
