Sea of monsters is underrated! I think the chapter in Siren’s bay is one of the best-crafted chapters Rick has ever written. So so much in so little pages.
You should definitely watch Black Sails. No spoilers but Toby Stephens' character has an incredible connection with another character that I know you would absolutely love. 44:44 Ray Stevenson (RIP) played Blackbeard in Black Sails and I just know the PJ showrunners, who also did Black Sails, would have loved to cast Ray as Blackbeard in Percy Jackson Season 2. 😥 58:00 I think it's very much giving Motorcycle club. 1:04:55 What? Water fighting & stunt work is beautifully on display in Avatar: The Way of Water, absolutely STUNNING!!! Yeah I hope Ambrosia is brought up for sure cuz they have a ton in HOO too & alsooo maybe tease some of the HOO storylines in SoM would be cool

As much as I love Heroes of Olympus (seriously need to do a reread along with Percy Jackson) you gotta prepare yourself if u do cuz it'll destroy u emotionally ngl. Also, u should definitely read The Kane Chronicles as well.

I was mor so thinking that ep 1 gives mush more of a back story and end when they arrive at camp or maybe when they are fighting the bulls, as for ep 2 I was thinking that episode ends with them getting the gifts from Hermes
One of the things i loved most in the Percy jackson books especially the sea of monsters was that overall Percy was a really insecure guy and i relate so much to that... Im realy curious about how they´re gonna portrair that scene in Circe's island when he looks hymself in the mirror and he is so nervous of his look and endup seen a perfect version of hymself... considering that Walker is extreamly gorgious im curious of what he would see in the mirror... i hope that they dont change that cus is literally my favourite part in the book... but im curious... are they gonna change that into another kind of insecurity? is he gonna look hymself like a anciente greek hero? is he gona see Luke?
It might take a little bit for the show fans to get used to the more 'fun' theme of sea of monsters because of how serious they also made season 1 so it looks like a very mature grown up series for most of it atleast so it may take them a bit to realise like oh yeah pjo is not just the serious cool stuff but its also jokey and stuff
