    Our governor has declared us officially in a drought. 105°-109° degrees here every day. I, too, am feeling your frustration. At least your well didn't go dry! I pray it is up and running tomorrow. Love to you and the family.❤

    It's brutal 105 here today I lost a few plants but I'll keep on pushing forward I put up a greenhouse clear mesh tarp over my garden and on the west side where the sun hits all day I put up shade cloth it's 10-15 degrees different under it now and I won't get flooded cause it rained here all after noon I put buckets at the back side of my tarp I put it on a pitch so I can fill up some buckets for water backup. Awesome your bandaid is working on the pumpkins! Stay cool my friend!

      @patwatersvlogs859 it has been brutal this year for sure. Glad you only lost a few plants. 10-15 degrees is a big deal on days like these. I would say, atleast you're getting rain, but flooding isn't good either. Haha. Hang in there and stay cool. Thanks 👍🏻

    Well I sure hope they can get the well going sone and nothing seriously wrong with it. I like the shade cloth. Sure wish we could send some rain your way. Just rains often. I pray the Lord will lift your spirit up. Bring a peace upon you. Work all the happenings out for you. March on is all we can do. Thanks for the update.

      @genewileyopa yes, hopefully the well will be up and running soon. I would take a little rain if you have some to spare. Haha. Unfortunately, this year has been full of difficulties for us, most of which I haven't shared. The garden is the least important problem for sure. Thanks for your prayers, as they are greatly appreciated. Right on, March on is all we can do sometimes. We will carry on knowing that this to shall pass. Thanks and see ya next time. Take care 🙏🙂

    Hurricane Beryl soaking and flooding areas. You guys with not a drop. Still praying for things to normalize. Sure hope your friends can fix the pump. Here in Manitoba,Canada it rains some every second day or every day. Been really cool for June/July except last 2/3 days. Climbing to 27C. Sure wish I could send you some moisture.

      @marcamp5450 I know. Some places flooding, and others dry as a bone. 🤷 I wish you could send us some moisture too....haha. We're hoping and praying it will normalize as well. Life seems to be kicking us pretty hard this year in many aspects, so hopefully, it will break for the better soon. 🙏 thanks

    You need a dead cat for your mic. It’s what they’re called. Reduces wind noise.
    Also ‘across’ ends with an S sound not a T sound or a D sound.
    I keep hoping to get a place with a well, but I keep getting all of these videos on UA-cam basically saying I definitely do need a water catchment system for the place I’m being led to instead. Or at least in addition to a well, I need a good water catchment system (like don’t put all your eggs in one basket). 😅😂💧
    Maybe you need you a good multipurpose lean-to that catches you some good water. 😊

      I agree, I think both a well and a catchment system would be the best of both worlds. I have never considered a catchment for our place because we average less than 7 inches of rain a year. Didn't think it would amount to much. Am I wrong? Should I try it anyway? Thanks for the tips on the mic as well. 👍🏻 Hope it all goes good for you. 👍🏻🙂

    Oh man, not good. I hope they can fix your well and get you some running water. You guys are getting hit hard lately. I've seen on another channel we're they're growing winter mellons. They grow in dry areas, they don't have much flavor but they claim the animals love eating them. It may be an option for you. Stay strong Josh ❤

      @OpenAirAdventure Thanks Kenny
      It's been rough. We're working on well today. Got it going temporarily. Talking about changing pump as well as testing the water level. 🤞 I'll have to look into those melons. Might be a good fit for us. I'll do update tonight or tomorrow on what's going on. 👍🏻🤷
