@fatefarmspa thanks! Yeah, it will be really cool if it works. The pasture will be a bonus, big bonus, but I mostly want the poisonous weeds gone so the cows can have more land. I have to say the mountains are awesome. I used to spend way more time up there and have been itching for some mountain adventures. They're staring me right in the face, and I still can't seem to get up there....🤦‍♂️🤷

@ yeah it’s been crazy dry it’s about 60° during the day and getting down to 30s at night chance of snow flurries in the 14 day forecast pretty mild though

@genewileyopa they sure dod seem happy. They will be content and happy until March, and then they will be getting itchy to go back up to pasture.

@OpenAirAdventure yeah, we will have some turkey for dinner if nothing else. It has been hard finding this certain type of pigs this fall. And then all of a sudden there was some available. I had decided we might not be doing them this year. I'm glad to have a potential momma pig to have some of our own every year. 👍🏻

@marcamp5450 Yes, they are. The mountain lion was seen just on the other side of "fox hill" . So that is scary close to the corral. It's been a while since he's been seen, so hopefully, he has decided to move on and out of the neighborhood. 👍🏻🙏

@@dusttodusthomestead it’s a prostaglandin. It’s used for many things reproductive. I.e., timing AI, if a young heifer got bred to early it will mismate them. Talk to your vet about it, your girl is showing classic signs of being cystic

@OpenAirAdventure Yep. I'm not sure what's going on. Hope she doesn't miscarry it, but I'm not sure she ever got pregnant. 🤷

@genewileyopa I thought it did, too. I was thinking about 4 months, however I have seen her act like she was in heat a couple times this summer. So I was concerned that she either didn't catch on or miscarried. The bull definitely mounted her, because I seen it later on on the day. Strange

@genewileyopa I'm gonna talk to the vet and see what he thinks. I have heard of some pregnant cows that keep having regular heat. Pretty rare, but who knows.
